| WPDRF and Rotary E Club of Winter Haven Observe Sadbhavana Diwas at Marwah Studios |
Noida: The World Peace Development and Research Foundation (WPDRF), International Chamber of Media & Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and Rotary E Club of Winter Haven observed Sadbhavana Diwas at Marwah Studios, Film City, Noida, reaffirming their collective commitment to communal harmony, national unity, peace and brotherhood.
The observance highlighted the importance of Sadbhavana—goodwill, harmony and mutual respect—in building a peaceful and progressive society. Members and well-wishers came together to promote the values of tolerance, understanding and unity among people of diverse backgrounds.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President, WPDRF, ICMEI and Rotary E Club of Winter Haven, said, “Sadbhavana is not merely a word; it is a way of life. India’s greatest strength is its diversity, and our responsibility is to transform this diversity into unity through love, respect and mutual understanding.”
Dr. Marwah emphasised that peace and harmony begin with individual attitudes and everyday actions. “We must learn to respect each other’s thoughts, cultures and traditions. There is no place for hatred, discrimination or division in a society that aspires to progress. Every citizen can become an ambassador of peace and goodwill,” he said.
He further highlighted the powerful role of media, art and culture in bringing people together. “Films, television, music, literature and other creative forms have the extraordinary ability to connect hearts and remove barriers. We should use these platforms to spread the message of love, peace and unity and to create a stronger bond among communities and nations,” Dr. Marwah added.
The programme also reflected the philosophy of WPDRF—“Love, Peace and Unity Through Art and Culture”—and called upon participants to carry the message of Sadbhavana beyond the observance and into their daily lives.
The gathering concluded with a collective pledge to uphold harmony, respect diversity, strengthen national unity and work together for a peaceful and inclusive society.
