Sandeep Marwah Honours ISKCON Leader with Life Membership of WPDRF

Noida: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Patron of ISKCON and a long-standing associate of the organisation for nearly four decades, presented the Life Membership of the World Peace Development and Research Foundation (WPDRF) to H.G. Vedanta Chaitanya Das, Co-President, ISKCON Noida, at a special ceremony held at Marwah Studios.

The honour recognises H.G. Vedanta Chaitanya Das’s commitment to spirituality, Vedic philosophy, human values and the promotion of peace and harmony through the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah said, “My association with ISKCON goes back nearly 40 years, and I have always admired its remarkable contribution towards spreading the message of peace, spirituality, compassion and universal brotherhood. The teachings of the Bhagavad Gita have tremendous relevance in today’s world. By presenting the life membership of WPDRF to H.G. Vedanta Chaitanya Das, we are honouring his dedicated service to society and reaffirming our shared commitment to peace, love and unity through spiritual and cultural values.”

Dr. Marwah further stated that the World Peace Development and Research Foundation has been working to promote the message of “Love, Peace and Unity Through Art and Culture”, and that collaboration with spiritual and cultural institutions can play an important role in creating a more harmonious and compassionate society.

H.G. Vedanta Chaitanya Das, associated with Sri Sri Radha Govind Dev Temple, Noida, and ISKCON Pandharpur, is an alumnus of IIT Kanpur and a disciple of His Holiness Lokanath Swami. He is an active speaker on the Bhagavad Gita and Vedic philosophy, and has been engaged in sharing spiritual knowledge and values with people from different walks of life.

Accepting the honour, H.G. Vedanta Chaitanya Das said, “I am grateful to Dr. Sandeep Marwah and the World Peace Development and Research Foundation for this honour. The message of the Bhagavad Gita is universal—it teaches us to perform our duties with sincerity, maintain inner balance and work for the welfare of others. He further appreciated Dr. Marwah’s longstanding association with ISKCON and his efforts to use media, education, art and culture as instruments for promoting peace and positive social values.

The presentation of the life membership marked a meaningful convergence of spirituality, education, culture and peace-building, strengthening the shared vision of ISKCON and the World Peace Development and Research Foundation to promote universal harmony and human values.
