New Delhi, August 16, 2026: A press conference announcing Film Expo India 2026 was held at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi, highlighting the upcoming mega exhibition scheduled to be held from 25th to 30th August 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
The event is being supported through a collaborative association of International Chamber of Media & Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), Marwah Studios, AAFT, Film Federation of India, Radio Noida 107.4 FM and MSTV, which have joined hands with Film Expo India to strengthen the Indian film, television, media and entertainment ecosystem.
Speaking at the press conference, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, President of ICMEI and Vice President of the Film Federation of India, spoke at length about the significance of Film Expo India. He said, “India has one of the largest and most vibrant film and entertainment industries in the world. Film Expo India provides a much-needed platform where filmmakers, technology companies, equipment manufacturers, broadcasters, OTT platforms, distributors, exhibitors, media professionals, students and creative entrepreneurs can come together under one roof.”
Dr. Marwah further said that the expo would create new opportunities for business networking, technology exchange, co-productions, investment, skill development and international collaborations, while showcasing India’s immense potential as a global destination for film production and media-related businesses.
Jyoti Brahmanand Yadav, Director, Film Expo India, said that the expo has been conceived as a comprehensive platform for the film and entertainment industry, bringing together the latest technologies, equipment, services and innovations. She expressed confidence that the event would open new avenues for exhibitors, professionals and visitors and contribute towards the growth of the Indian entertainment economy.
Mukesh Kumar, CEO, Film Expo India, said that the expo is designed to connect the complete value chain of the film and media industry. He highlighted the participation of industry stakeholders and said that the event would provide opportunities for knowledge sharing, business development, networking and showcasing emerging technologies and solutions.
The collaboration between ICMEI, Marwah Studios, AAFT, Film Federation of India, Radio Noida and MSTV further strengthens the industry’s collective efforts to create a dynamic platform for Indian and international media professionals.
