| Marwah Studios Celebrates 80th Independence Day with Grand Cultural Programme |
Noida, August 15, 2026: A grand celebration of the 80th Independence Day of India was organised at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City, bringing together students, faculty members, artists, media professionals and cultural enthusiasts in a vibrant celebration of the nation’s freedom, unity and diversity.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder of Noida Film City and President of Marwah Studios and AAFT, said, “Independence Day is not merely a national celebration; it is a reminder of the immense sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the responsibilities we carry as citizens of a free nation. The 80th Independence Day is an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to the values of democracy, unity, peace, equality and inclusive development.”
Dr. Marwah further said, “India has travelled a remarkable journey since Independence and today stands as one of the most dynamic nations in the world. Our greatest strength is our diversity, our youth and our rich cultural heritage. Through education, art, cinema, television, music and other creative mediums, we can inspire the younger generation to contribute towards nation-building and take the message of India to the world.”
A special highlight of the celebration was the relaunch of the National Anthem in sign language, prepared by Satish Kapoor of Brotherhood, with the support of AAFT. The special presentation featured Amitabh Bachchan along with special children, creating a powerful message of inclusion, dignity and equal participation.
Dr. Marwah appreciated the initiative and said, “The National Anthem belongs to every Indian. Presenting it through sign language is a beautiful expression of inclusion and reminds us that every citizen, regardless of ability, has an equal place in the story of India. We are proud to support this meaningful initiative.”
The formal Independence Day ceremony was followed by a colourful music and dance programme presented by the teachers and students of AAFT, showcasing the richness of Indian culture through performances representing the spirit, traditions and diversity of the nation.
The celebration at Marwah Studios brought together the values of patriotism, creativity, inclusivity and cultural expression, reaffirming the institution’s continued commitment to promoting love, peace and unity through art and culture.
The programme concluded with patriotic fervour and a collective pledge to contribute towards a stronger, more inclusive and progressive India.
