| Dr Sandeep Marwah Congratulates Estonia on the Day of Restoration of Independence |
New Delhi: Dr Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and Chair of the Indo Estonia Film and Cultural Forum, extended his warm greetings and congratulations to Ms. Liisa Schaffrik-Pubby, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Estonia, and the people of Estonia on the occasion of the Day of Restoration of Independence of Estonia, celebrated on 20 August.
“On behalf of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and the Indo Estonia Film and Cultural Forum, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Liisa Schaffrik-Pubby and the people of Estonia on this significant national occasion. May Estonia continue to prosper and achieve greater heights of peace, development and happiness,” said Dr Sandeep Marwah.
Dr Marwah highlighted the importance of strengthening the friendly relations between India and Estonia through meaningful cooperation in art, culture, education, media and entertainment. He emphasised that cultural diplomacy can play an important role in bringing nations and their people closer.
“India and Estonia have immense possibilities for collaboration in the creative sectors. Film, television, digital media, art, literature and education can become strong bridges between our two countries and can create new opportunities for artists, filmmakers, students and creative professionals,” Dr Marwah added.
Speaking about the Indo Estonia Film and Cultural Forum, Dr Marwah said that the forum is committed to creating greater interaction between the creative communities of India and Estonia and to promoting mutual understanding through cultural exchange.
He expressed confidence that India-Estonia relations would continue to grow in the years ahead, particularly in the areas of technology, education, innovation, media and creative industries.
Dr Sandeep Marwah conveyed his best wishes for the continued peace, prosperity and progress of Estonia and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the bonds of friendship between India and Estonia through art, culture and creative diplomacy.
