Sandeep Marwah Inaugurates Literary Carnival and Launches New Books at India International Centre

New Delhi: In a celebration of literature and learning, Dr. Sandeep Marwah inaugurated the Literary Carnival organized by Jashan Events at the prestigious India International Centre in New Delhi. The event served as a platform for authors, readers, and literary enthusiasts to come together and share their love for books and the written word.

As part of the inaugural ceremony, Dr. Marwah had the honor of releasing three remarkable books: Laments from the Abyss by Nehal Dwivedi, What is Conciseness by Ashish Roy, and Gandhi and the London Cabby by Ashis Dutta. Each book, with its unique perspective and literary depth, was welcomed with great enthusiasm by the audience. The authors expressed their gratitude to Dr. Marwah and the event organizers for supporting their work and helping bring it to a wider audience.

In his address, Dr. Marwah highlighted the importance of literature in shaping minds and inspiring change, quoting the theme “Today a reader, tomorrow a leader.” He commended the power of books in providing knowledge, fostering creativity, and encouraging critical thinking. “Books have the power to transform individuals and societies. They ignite imagination and offer perspectives that can guide us towards a better future. I am honored to be part of an event that celebrates literature and encourages reading,” he said.

The event was organized by Seema Saxena, Director of Jashan Events, who received special thanks from Dr. Marwah for her dedication to promoting literary culture in India. Saxena expressed her appreciation for Dr. Marwah’s presence and acknowledged his contributions to the arts, culture, and education.

In recognition of his deep interest in promoting literature and his role in establishing the Global Literary Festival Noida, the largest literary festival in the nation, Dr. Marwah was honored with a memento. The award celebrated his efforts in creating a platform for authors, poets, and literary enthusiasts, thereby fostering a culture of reading and literary appreciation across India.

New Delhi: “Cinema and Literature are two major forms of arts and have always fascinated the readers and viewers in all the ages. Literature may grow of its own but cinema cannot prosper without the literature. It has always been a source of inspiration for filmmakers,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts at a program designed by Himalini Media Group of Nepal in association with Dwarka Parichay.

 

“I am fascinated by 6^th Global Literary Festival Noida 2020 on web and wanted Dr. Sandeep Marwah to speak on this subject too-A Role of Literature In Cinema,” said S.S. Dogra introducing the subject.

 

“Be it a Aladdin Ka Chirag, Alibaba Chalis Chor, Cinderella or Devdas a good story is always welcomed by film makers to convert into visual media. R.K. Narayan’s Guide, The Citadel by A.J Cronin into Tere Mere Sapne, Sharat Chandra Chattopadya’s Devdas and Parineeta into popular cinema, Chetan Bhagat’s Three Mistakes of my Life into Kai Poche and 2 States, God Father by Mario Puzo into Dyavan and then Government are some of the best examples of literature converted into cinema,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah

 

Prominent writers like Munshi Premchand who gave films like Gaban, Godan, Heera Moti, Shatranj Ke Khilari, Gulshan Nanda’s literature was changed to cinema like Sharmilee, Kati Patang, Pather Ke Sanam, Neel kamal. PrayagRaj added to the collection by giving Amar Akbar Antony, Suhag, Parvarish, Naseeb, Mard, Ajooba and many others.

 

There may be hundreds of examples when known writers in literature have contributed to cinema. On the other hand cinema has highlighted good literature and gave historical publicity to the writers.

 

Dr. Kirti Kale renowned poetess, Satya Prakash Manglani filmmaker and Rajjan Lyallpuri Cinematographer also spoke on the subject.

New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios was the special guest at the launching of book ‘Sridevi:  The Eternal Screen Goddess written by Satyarth Nayak. by Boney Kapoor and Deepika Padukone at Habitat Centre during Literary festival.

While speaking about her initial days in Bollywood, the actress shared that Boney Kapoor and Sridevi are the real champions of her work. She also remembered the days when Sridevi used to send her personalized messages for every film that she did and praise her for her performances. The actress candidly said that most people do not know about her bond with Sridevi but she was a person that Deepika was fond of, at a personal level.

Deepika said that it is her honor to unveil the book on Sridevi's life as she was not just a celebrated actress, but also one of her most favorite person on earth and she shared a good bond with her. Deepika said that she feels honored that the family gave her an opportunity to launch Sridevi's book.

“I am amazed by the collection of information and pictures by Satyarth who had spent quite some time in creating a beautiful set of memories,” said Sandeep Marwah who was present there with Gauri Shinde, writer Rumi Jafri and President Stefano Ricci India Jackie Manglani.

Noida: International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with Asian Academy of Arts and AAFT University welcomed the participation of more than 50 countries of the World to the grand opening of 5^th Global Literary Festival Noida 2019 at Noida Film City.

“We are once again here with something new and different. Our job is to create a wonderful creative environment where we can talk about love, peace and unity through art and culture. I welcome you all to this grand international show of literature,” announced Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of 5^th GLFN at the inauguration.

“The energy of this campus is infectious, every time I carry back new ideas from Marwah Studios and want to add to the promotion of Indo Vietnam Relations. Literature is not workaday for me but something, which involves desire, dreams and fantasy. I congratulate India for such a magnificent show of literature,” said H.E. Pham Sanh Chau, Ambassador of Vietnam to India.

“India and Peru are old friends and some where I find similarities in our thinking and action. I am impressed by the size and the quality of events added into this marvelous show. Literature is one of the most interesting and significant expressions of humanity. I hope people will take full advantage of this literary festival,” said H.E. Carlos Polo, Ambassador of Peru to India

Renowned writers Lily Swarn from Chandigarh impressed everyone with her poetry. Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah honored and presented all the dignities with the certificate of participation and memento in the presence of large number of writers, poets, media persons and young enthusiastic literature lovers from India and abroad. The Festival Director Sushil Bharti paid vote of thanks.

Noida: “A good book is like an event in my life. You can only raise the level of your thinking by reading books. Success comes from confidence. …Confidence comes from knowledge and knowledge comes from reading,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah   inaugurating the literary carnival at India International Centre.

“Releasing books means giving birth to the baby. These books must cover large audience for the satisfaction of the writer,” expressed Dr. Marwah also released three different books of three different writers on the inauguration.

I extend my heartiest congratulations to the writers of these three books and invite them to Global Literary Festival. Books titles ‘I love Myself’ by Vandana Sehgal, ‘Chand Gira Hai’ by Jyoti Arya, ‘Mortal Vishnu’ by Antar Artiya were presented to Dr. Marwah by the writers.

Young writers like  Kapil Raj, Shilpi Moda, Nupur Sandu, Kevin Missal, Himanshu Rai, D.N. Upadhyaya, Kamini Kusum, Vineet Bajpai, and Lahar are also participating in carnival.

New Delhi: A book containing the success story of 25 women titled Big Dreams Bigger Achievements-Inspiring Women written by Dr. Gagandeep Kaur was released by Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios at Indian Islamic Centre organized by a social organization Weaving Dreams.

“It is no less than a spiritual job when you go out of way to promote people who have done well but still not known to the World. This is what this book has done to few achievers. I appreciate the efforts of Dr. Gagandeep Kaur and congratulate all the women on the release of the book,” said Sandeep Marwah while releasing the book.

K.T.S. Tulsi Member Parliament Rajya Sabha also spoke on the Women Empowerment and congratulated every one on this successful releasing of book.

Later Sandeep Marwah presented memento to many women achievers. Dr. Gagandeep also presented memento to Dr. Sandeep Marwah for his untiring efforts in the field of art and culture.

Literature Carnival at Hindi Bhawan

New Delhi: Series of resourceful programmes In front of enthusiast audience turned the venue of Literary Carnival into a confluence of creative writers, energetic journalists, committed filmmakers attracting a sparkling gathering at Hindi Bhavan, New Delhi, organized by Jashn Events And Promoters.

 Inaugurating the Festival, Dr Sandeep Marwah (Founder of Film City & President Marwah Studios) appealed to the litterateur and authors to contribute for the mission to build a culturally sound society through their literary pieces reflecting the truth.

15 years old Author Paakhi Maheshwari, Abhishek Khanna from Lucknow and Abhishek Goswami launched their books. Vineet Bjapai, Tanmay Dubey & Indrajit Ghoshal, Tauseef Ahmed were the main Speakers at the event.

Many eminent persons witnessed this event as a special guest including Sushil Bharti Director Broadcasting of Marwah Studios, Dr Mridula Tandon Social Activist and founder of SAKSHI and Sharmila Bhawmick Senior Journalist.

A Poetry Book of Punesh Anand Released

Noida: Justice G.S. Sasthani of Delhi High Court released the first book of poetry written by Punesh Anand in a grand function at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.

“The art of writing is the expression of your thoughts and feelings. The poetry book of Punesh Anand has added a lot to the literature when people are forgetting to write. I hope he continues to write and would love to be the part of his second book launching function too,” said Justice G.S. Sasthani while releasing the book Nichod.

“I   have been appreciating Punesh Anand for his art of writing, he has reached to the stage where he has started talking in poetry. I have understood that he must be given an opportunity to come in public with his talent,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

“I am amazed and surprised by the organizing capacity of Marwah Studios who all have not only identified me out of crowd but also published my work in no time. From No where to Some Where-this is life. I am thankful to each and every one who has helped me in reaching to this platform and declaring me a Poet,” added Punesh Anand emotionally.

Sushil Bharti analyzed the poetry in detail and also read few of them in public. Mrs Maniderpreet Sasthani and Harsh Anand also spoke on the occasion.

The event was attended by large number of important people from different starta of life and supported by family and friends. Asian Academy of Arts and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment designed the launching function.
