The summit, envisioned as a global platform to foster innovation, collaboration, and growth in the audiovisual entertainment sector, witnessed the active participation of Marwah Studios, led by its visionary Founder and President, Dr. Sandeep Marwah. Dr. Marwah, known for establishing Noida Film City, founding AAFT University of Media and Arts, and producing over 3,600 short films with participation from filmmakers across 100+ countries, was a prominent speaker at the summit. He addressed a high-level panel discussion on “Public-Private Collaboration for Developing Indian OTTs and Hyper-Local Content”, drawing attention to India’s rising potential as a global content hub.

“Our strength lies in robust infrastructure and an unwavering commitment to talent development. From building world-class studios to nurturing 35,000 media professionals from 145 countries, Marwah Studios has been at the forefront of India’s media revolution,” said Dr. Marwah during his address.

The presence of Marwah Studios at WAVE served as a testament to the institution’s pivotal role in driving India’s soft power and its influence across cinema, television, digital platforms, and cultural diplomacy. The studio’s legacy, built over four decades, has shaped the careers of thousands and facilitated the production of diverse, culturally rich content representing India’s creative excellence to the world.

The summit was attended by government dignitaries, international media experts, OTT platform leaders, and creative professionals, all united by a shared vision to elevate India’s audiovisual industry.

Mumbai: In a moment of high recognition at the prestigious WAVES – World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit held in Mumbai, Dr. L. Murugan, Hon’ble Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, applauded Dr. Sandeep Marwah for his outstanding and transformative contributions to the Indian media and entertainment industry.

Dr. Marwah, a pioneer and cultural diplomat, is the founder of Noida Film City and Marwah Studios, where thousands of television programs and feature films have been shot. As Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts, he has trained over 35,000 media professionals from 145 countries, produced 3,600 short films, and provided opportunities to 25,000 filmmakers to create their debut projects.

He is also the founder of 10 major film festivals in India, creator of more than 8,000 cultural events across every genre, and has proudly represented over 80 countries as a cultural ambassador. His tireless efforts have significantly contributed to strengthening India’s soft power through media, art, and international collaboration.

Speaking on the compelling topic “Public-Private Collaboration for Developing Indian OTTs and Hyper-Local Content,” Dr. Marwah’s visionary insights and decades-long contributions to the Indian media landscape earned widespread admiration and applause.

In his powerful address, Dr. Marwah emphasized the importance of robust infrastructure in building a thriving content ecosystem. “Producing content is only possible when you have a strong foundation.
