It’s like coming back home-Seema Biswas
The leading lady and the supporting actress of many films, Seema Biswas who started her first feature film Bandit Queen Phoolan Devi from Marwah Studios in 1993 with Shekhar Kapur as director, turned emotional while talking to the students of Asian Academy of Film And Television, school of performing arts and school of media studies in the master class when she said that “It’s like coming home after many years. I have remembered each and every wall of Marwah Studios where I had spent three months”
“I am proud that Seema Biswas has considered Marwah Studios as her first school of film acting. ‘Bandit Queen Phoolan Devi’ became one of the most popular Indian International Film.” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Director of Asian Education Group while appreciating the works of this lady and her achievements.
Answering to the questions Seema Biswas narrated many consequences of her life with real experiences to the students of acting who all were amazed with her talent. Her role in Khamoshi, Hazar Churasia ki maa, Bhoot, Ghaav, Company, Pinjar, Water were discussed in detail.
“Seema Biswas is a very sensitive actress and gets deeply into the character” said Satish Anand dean Acting highlighting her love for theatre. Others who spoke on the occasion were Kalyan Sarkar dean AAFT, Latika Sahani dean ABS and R.K.Singh dean ASMS. To honor Seema Biswas Sandeep Marwah presented her the life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT.
