ASMS Join Hands With 3rd Global Festival Of Films 2010
In a joint meeting of management of Asian School of Media Studies and 3rd Global Festival of Films it has been decided that ASMS will join hands with the three days Global festival and help in achieving targets what GFF has planned this time.
“We are ready to accept ASMS faculty as our co-organizer as it comprises of film and television film makers and they know about film festival management” said Sandeep Marwah, President of Global Festival of Films 2010 while declaring R.K.Singh as Festival Director.
Ashok Tyagi, Rahul Sehgal, Sushil Bharti, Sudesh Sharma, Dr.Om Gupta, Divya Prakash, Isha Das, Abhinav Bajpai, Mettu Verma, Namrata Bagga, Anubhav Mathur, were present there to participate in the meeting to form the different organizing committee
The students of Cinema, Mass Communication, Electronic Media, and Multimedia of Asian School Of Media Studies, the first film college of the country will be members of all these organizing committees.

Global Festival Of Films 2010 Fixed For November
“We are once again proud to announce the dates of 3rd Global Festival of Films with special emphasis on Children’s Film this time.” said Sandeep Marwah President of the Festival in the general board meeting held today at Marwah Studios at Noida Film City, which has been finalized also as the venue of the festival.
The details of the three days festival program were chartered out with the committee including Gurbir Grewal, R.K. Singh, Kalyan Sarkar, Om Gupta as committee heads.
The festival will include screening of Children’s Film, a short film corner, workshops, seminars, an exhibition of film posters, a market place, get together etc
The festival will also see interaction with foreign film makers, Indian Film personalities and film, television and media students .The 3rd Global Festival of Films will be supported by Asian Academy of Film And Television, Asian School of Media Studies, Asian School of Performing Arts, Asian Business School and Asian School of Graphics and Animation.
“I am very confident of my team, we will produce better results this time. Global festival of Films has already become a brand with the second edition. Third edition will make it more popular” Sandeep Marwah added.

Never Forget Your Base –Salman Khurshid At AAFT
“Teachers are the best guide, believe them they are your path makers. A good education not only educate and train you but also built up the character and personality of the student” said Salman Khurshid union minister of state for Corporate Affairs and Minority Affairs, Government of India while giving the valedictory address to the passing out media students of the 68th batch of Asian Academy of Film And Television at Noida Film City.
Asian Academy of Film And Television conducted 600 hours of training program and invited 70 film and television professional and personalities, had 34 interactions, workshops, seminars, symposiums, festivals, film events, shows, releases, etc. during 68th batch. More than 100 training films have been made in association with Marwah Productions in this batch informed Prof. Gurbir Grewal Additional Director, AAFT.
“We have left no stone unturned to bring media education to an international level. With the completion of 68th batch we have touched 75 countries of the World and now we are number one institute in the country as far as foreign enrolment is concerned” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Director of AAFT.
Salman Khurshid handed over the prestigious Diploma of AAFT to 76 students hailing from all over India and countries like Ghana, Nigeria, Greece, Netherland, Bhutan etc this time. Others who spoke on the occasion were Prof. R.K.Singh Dean Asian School of Media Studies, Prof. Satish Annd Dean Asian School of Performing Arts, Dr.Akhilesh Sharma and Prof. Kalyan Sarkar Dean AAFT paid formal vote of thanks. “I was looking for a face who can fit into the lead character of my film and when I saw Ahran, it served the purpose, the best part is that he is trained too” said Surjeet who has managed to sign with Warner Brothers for the marketing of the film world wide.
The film is going to be on the floor this year with Naseerudin Shah, Gyattri Dattar as lead lady, Vishal Kaushik and many more. Sandeep Marwah Represented Media In Queen’s Baton Relay At Jaipur
Jaipur.22nd September “It is my proud privileged to be part of the relay team and to run with the Queen’s Baton in the historical city of Jaipur. I am feeling so patriotic and wish that everything should go well at Commonwealth Games as per plans” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Director of Asian Academy Of Film And Television to the National Press at Jaipur where earlier Baton was received by Rajasthan Olympic Association Chief Janardhan Gehlot from Agra.
Sandeep Marwah, the renowned media personality and an International record holder of producing largest number of shorts films in the World, was representing films, Television and media Industry in Queen’s Baton Relay. He has been a media Guru and has trained more than 8000 persons from 75 countries.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. in a ceremonial gesture along with state tourism minister Bina Kak handed over the Baton to Olympic silver medalist Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore at Amar Jawan Jyoti. A light drizzle and overcast conditions could not dampen the mood of thousands of people including students lined up both sides of the path holding national flags and showering floral tributes.
The convoy was accompanied by CWG mascot Shera, chief secretary Salauddin Ahmed, Jaipur MP Mahesh Joshi, secretary of sports and youth affairs, Rohit Kumar Arjun Award winners like Gopal Saini, Kuldeep Singh Garcha, Shriram Singh, Rajkumar, Surendra Kataria, Hanuman Singh, Dyanchand, Salim Durani were prominent among the sportspersons who joined the rally. The six-km course was dotted with hoardings and banners on the Games.
QBR culminated at Hawa Mahal after passing through MI Road, Sanganeri Gate and Chotte Chaupad. A cultural program at Jawahar Kala Kendra marked the event.
The Baton will proceed to Jodhpur on Thursday and after passing through Jaisalmer and Bikaner, it will move into Haryana on 26th September. The Baton will complete its 20,000 km journey before reaching New Delhi on September 30.

Queen’s Baton Relay and Marwah Studios Team at Agra
AGRA, 21 September 2010: The Queen’s Baton 2010 Delhi along with multimedia team of Marwah Studios has reached the historic city of Agra, capital of Mughal dynasty. The baton entered Uttar Pradesh on Monday amidst much fanfare and exuberance. The baton convoy travelled around the city producing a wonderful spectacle for the people lined up along its route.
The baton was received by distinguished sportspersons like International Power lifter Hardeep Singh and Arjuna awardees for Hockey and Olympian Jagveer Singh among others. Thereafter the baton headed towards 509 Army Base Workshop and was honored by officers of different ranks.
The relay was flagged off with great joy and over hundred Baton bearers took part. Incessant rains could not fetter the pace of the relay.
Evening saw a cultural program being organized at Sur Sadan, where a special postal stamp was released to honour the XIX Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi. The program included traditional dance performance and a fashion parade showcasing designs themed “Go Green’.
“The multimedia team of Marwah studios has covered 88 days of tour and coverage with Queen’s baton relay without even a blink” said Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah studios.

“My days at Marwah Studios not only taught me the ways and means to grow in acting but also motivated to work hard and pursue my carrier’ said Ahran Chaudhary who shifted to Mumbai after his training at Noida Film City.

Asian School of Performing Arts an acting school of AAFT is running short term as well as one year course in Acting. The education and training in acting is supported by large number of short films for the students produced by Marwah Films and Video Production.

Multimedia Team of Marwah Studios With QBR CWG At Bhopal
BHOPAL, 18 September 2010: The Queen’s Baton Relay 2010 Delhi along with Multimedia Team of Marwah Studios reached Bhopal, the capital in Madhya Pradesh to witness the entire city gripped by the spirit of sports and patriotism. Madhya Pradesh Sports and Youth Welfare Minister, Tukojirao Pawar, Urban Development Minister, Babular Gaur were among others that received the baton amid showering of flower petals.
The Queen’s Baton 2010 Delhi, en route to Bhopal, made its way through the streets of Dewas. Reaching Bhopal, the baton was received by International Weightlifters R.C Gupta, Nitin Sharma and Sumit Kumar amongst other dignitaries.
The relay was welcomed at the iconic Bhopal Chauraha by girls from the local schools with folk dance performances. This was followed by the baton being taken to the Upper Lake of Bhopal. The Upper Lake is the largest artificial lake in Asia and it is fed with water by Kolans River. Here, the baton was taken across the lake on a boat.
A large number of people, including hockey players - Ashok Kumar, Inaamur Rehman, Sameer Daad and Jalauddin - turned up for the event.The baton later proceeded to Tatya Tope Stadium in a specially decorated vehicle where a grand reception was planned in its honour. Before reaching the stadium, the baton was honoured at nearly 15 places.
Madhya Pradesh Industries Minister, Kailash Vijaywargiya on Friday inaugurated the Commonwealth Games Express Train Exhibition at the Habibganj Railway Station in Bhopal. The train showcasing the glorious history of the Commonwealth Games,

Marwah Studios Team reached Indore Along With Queen’s Baton Relay
INDORE, 17 September 2010: Queen’s Baton Relay 2010 Delhi was given a warm reception on its arrival to Indore with Multimedia Team of Marwah Studios. The baton was received by international wrestler Mr. Pappu Yadav among others at the city’s Lantern Square.
Large number of people lined up on the relay route to catch a glimpse of the Queen’s Baton 2010 Delhi while it passed through important landmarks of the city.
Earlier on Wednesday the baton was given a traditional welcome on its arrival in Madhya Pradesh with artists performing tribal dance at the border village called Kund. Arjun Awardee Mr.G.L. Yadav (Sailing) and Ms. Madhu Yadav (Hockey) were present at the occasion to receive the baton along with other dignitaries.
Later, the baton reached Ratlam, travelling across Sarvan, Sailana and Dhamnod, where the relay commenced from Nehru Stadium, circumambulating the area around the stadium. It was followed by an evening of cultural extravaganza.
‘The Queen’s Baton Relay of Commonwealth Games 2010 has brought once again the whole country together. It has proved to be a wonderful element of National Integration” said Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios Enterprises.

Script Writing Workshop on Disability at Marwah Studios
Marwah Studios in association with a voluntary organization Brotherhood and Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) organized a Script Writing Workshop for the writers working on the subjects like disability at Noida Film City from August 23 to 27. The purpose of this workshop was to enhance the communication skills of the professionals on this subject.
“We understand our responsibility towards society and especially towards disable persons who have been ignored many times by the people in community. The workshop has developed the writing skills of many and got us some wonderful scripts on the subject to make short films” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.
“Brotherhood has been creating awareness about disability in schools, hospitals and communities through films. It has already organized seven film festivals on disability issues in India” said Satish Kapoor President of Brotherhood. The next We Care Film Festival’ is already planned with the support of AAFT, RCI, UNESCO, United Nations Information Centre and National Trust.
A team of experts from Asian Academy of Film And Television [AAFT] &Asian School of Media studies [ASMS] was drawn to conduct this powerful workshop at Noida Film City. R.K.Singh, Kalyan Sarkar, Rahul Sehgal, Lalit Kumar, Satish Anand, Ashok Tyagi, Mansoor Naqvi, Amit Prajapati were part of the faculty team. Dr. Om Gupta conducted the workshop.

Multimedia Team of Marwah Studios At Ahmedabad With Queen’s Baton Relay.
AHMEDABAD, 15 September 2010: The Queen’s Baton Relay 2010 Delhi on its journey across the country reached Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad on Tuesday along with the multimedia team of Marwah Studios This was one of the residences of Father of The Nation Mahatma Gandhi. This ashram is now a national monument due to its significance in the Indian independence movement.
The relay was flagged off from the historical Ashram. Tejas Bakre, Gujarat’s Chess Grandmaster led the relay. Junior Indian Tennis Federation players Vaidik Munshaw and Yagnesh Sharma also became the proud Batonbearers.
Refering to the newly created Mahatma Gandhi Forum at Noida Film City Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios said,” the timing of our team of Multimedia Coverage at Ahmedabad and launching of Mahatma Gandhi Forum here in Noida almost same. I am proud of my students who have covered whole India along with Queen’s Baton Relay”
Earlier in the day, the baton was received at Vadodara by Lajja Goswami, Shooter and member of the Indian Rifle Shooting Team for XIX Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi.
On Monday, the baton travelled through the state visiting cities like Vapi, Nalsari, Surat and Vadodara.
The baton received a traditional welcome at the state border with children dressed in conventional attires dancing to the local tunes. From here on the baton was carried on in an open jeep to Vapi where a cultural programme was organised in its honour. The atmosphere was exuberant with crowds cheering and beating drums.
Reaching Surat, the baton was taken for a relay. Excitement among the people reached it pinnacle during the relay engulfed them by the spirit of the Games.

Marwah Studios Multimedia Team With QBR CWG At Mumbai
MUMBAI: The Queen’s Baton 2010 Delhi arrived with Marwah Studios Multimedia Team in the commercial capital of the country Mumbai amid cultural extravaganza and a grand welcome by the Western Naval Command at INS Viraat.
Many International athletes were present at this occasion including hockey Olympian - MM Somaya, former national table tennis champion - Kamlesh Mehta, chess Grandmaster - Praveen Thipsay, his wife - Bhagyashree Thipsay, Arjuna Awardee - Adil Sumariwala, former badminton players - Pradeep Gandhe and Gauri Ghate and national level basketball player - Surbhi Mudgal.
Hockey Olympian MM Somaya said, “I was honoured to be a part of the Queen's Baton Relay. It is a big thing for us sportspersons. It was a proud moment indeed.”
At the legendary Gateway of India Maharashtra Chief Minister, Mr. Ashok Chavan participated in the relay. He received the baton which arrived by aboat from Karanje naval jetty in Uran, Navy Mumbai, to the Gateway of India in south Mumbai.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Chavan expressed the hope that the Games would spread a spirit of sportsmanship among the people and popularise sports among the masses.
Besides the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Chhagan Bhujbal, Sports Minister Mr. Suresh Shetty, Union Minister for IT Mr. Gurudas Kamat and other sports officials and members of the State Olympic Association were present on the occasion.
Earlier the Indian Navy gave the baton a majestic welcome. As many as 1,400 naval sailors and 400 navy children school students welcomed the baton by waving the Tricolour. Lezhim, Maharashtra’s traditional synchronised dance form was performed by a cultural troupe of students.
The baton was first taken to the submarine, INS Sindhuvijay, and then to INS Viraat where it was handed over to Vice-Admiral Sanjeev Bhasin, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Naval Region.
“We are proud to get this unique opportunity. The Queen's Baton 2010 Delhi carries forward a five-decade-old tradition and symbolises the unity and diversity of the Commonwealth countries,” Vice-Admiral Bhasin said.
The baton, carrying the Queen's message on an 18-carat gold leaf, was then handed over by Vice-Admiral Bhasin to Shaurya Chakra Award winner Commander Dilip Dhonde, the first Indian to circumnavigate the world solo. Near the Gateway, the baton was welcomed by two Chetak helicopters which showered petals and two jet cannons which formed an arch, as the baton cruised forward to the Gateway.

Hockey Olympian MM Somaya said, “I was honoured to be a part of the Queen's Baton Relay. It is a big thing for us sportspersons. It was a proud moment indeed.”
At the legendary Gateway of India Maharashtra Chief Minister, Mr. Ashok Chavan participated in the relay. He received the baton which arrived by aboat from Karanje naval jetty in Uran, Navy Mumbai, to the Gateway of India in south Mumbai.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Chavan expressed the hope that the Games would spread a spirit of sportsmanship among the people and popularise sports among the masses.
Besides the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Chhagan Bhujbal, Sports Minister Mr. Suresh Shetty, Union Minister for IT Mr. Gurudas Kamat and other sports officials and members of the State Olympic Association were present on the occasion.
Earlier the Indian Navy gave the baton a majestic welcome. As many as 1,400 naval sailors and 400 navy children school students welcomed the baton by waving the Tricolour. Lezhim, Maharashtra’s traditional synchronised dance form was performed by a cultural troupe of students.
The baton was first taken to the submarine, INS Sindhuvijay, and then to INS Viraat where it was handed over to Vice-Admiral Sanjeev Bhasin, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Naval Region.
“We are proud to get this unique opportunity. The Queen's Baton 2010 Delhi carries forward a five-decade-old tradition and symbolises the unity and diversity of the Commonwealth countries,” Vice-Admiral Bhasin said.
The baton, carrying the Queen's message on an 18-carat gold leaf, was then handed over by Vice-Admiral Bhasin to Shaurya Chakra Award winner Commander Dilip Dhonde, the first Indian to circumnavigate the world solo. Near the Gateway, the baton was welcomed by two Chetak helicopters which showered petals and two jet cannons which formed an arch, as the baton cruised forward to the Gateway.

On its route, the relay passed through the streets and markets of the town where people gathered to witness the event. At Moti Daman, the traditional Daman ‘Machch‘dance was performed as part of the function.
Earlier in the day, the baton was received by Member of Parliament from Daman and Diu Mr. Lalubhai Patel and other Government officials.
The baton then left for Silvassa, capital of the Union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli. At Silvassa, the reception and the assemblage was phenomenal. The city avenues were full of cheering crowds, young and old. In an effort to conserve our environment, a tree plantation was held at Swami Narayan School.
The convoy then proceeded to Shaheed Chowk where the relay began. Traditional dancers and performers also lined up on the route. After the relay, the convoy reached Silvassa Stadium. Shakespeare Society At Marwah Studios Moves Further
The high level meeting at Marwah Studios decided that it is now going to support Shakespeare Society created at the campus with the objective to highlight the works of Shakespeare, the moral values, the ethics and the ideology to the present World and generation far ahead. This Society is framed also with the objective- for the literary and spiritual awakening among the students and upholds the human values in them.
“We are very pleased by the response we have received from the students and the faculty members. We have planned a section of Shakespeare books, dramas and films in the library” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chairperson of the Shakespeare Society. “We have now included Shakespeare dramas into our curriculum of one year acting program” Marwah added.

Marwah Studios Multimedia Team At Pune With QBR CWG
PUNE: Organising Committee Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi Chairman Mr. Suresh Kalmadi, MP, led the welcome of the Queen’s Baton 2010 Delhi in his home town at a grand ceremony at the Bharati Vidyapeeth here on Thursday afternoon. A large crowd, feasting on music and dance, and a float advocating the message of sport greeted the baton.
The baton was then taken on an open jeep through the streets of Pune through Saras Bagh, Tilak Chowk, FC Road and Fergussan College. Fire dancers, sword fighters and sports lovers lined up the roads, cheering the baton and the batonbearers. The convoy reached Balewadi Sports Complex at 18:00 hours where the relay concluded.
The Pune Municipal Corporation hosted a reception where Maharashtra Minister of State for Home Mr. Ramesh Bagwe, PMC Leader of Opposition Aba Bagul, former India cricket captain Chandu Borde, hockey star Ajit Lakra, wrestling ace Harishchandra Birajdar, Davis Cup star Gaurav Natekar and others were present.
Seven-time National tennis champion Natekar said it was truly a memorable evening for him as it brought back memories of big events. The Baton finished the day at the Balewadi Sports Complex.
Earlier, Shivaji University Vice Chancellor Mr. MM Salunkhe flagged off the baton’s journey from Kolhapur. It was welcomed in Sangli with much fanfare, children waving the Tricolour. This was followed by another ceremony at Watha on the border of Satara district. A short relay was organised in Karad, including local officials, sportspeople and a large group of NCC cadets.
In Satara, a 5km relay followed the welcome. The people were excited and children had lined up along the streets, showering flowers and playing musical instruments. The relay concluded at the Satara Stadium from where the baton headed for Pune. En route, there were ceremonies at Gaurishankar Knowledge House, Vailatalenka and Shiral where the baton was garlanded by local officials and received by people with flowers and music.

September 8 was proclaimed International Literacy Day by UNESCO in 1965. . Its aim is to highlight the importance of literacy to individuals, communities and societies. On International Literacy Day, UNESCO reminds the international community of the status of literacy and adult learning globally. Many events take place around the world.

Marwah Studios Multimedia Team At Mangalore With QBR CWG
Mangalore:6th Sept. The Queen’s Baton of Commonwealth Games entered Dakshina Kannada district via Gundya, Nellyadi on September 5, Sunday.
Prabhakar Sharma, Additional DC, on behalf of the DK District Administration received the the baton from Wing Commander V.N.Singh, the relay commander.
District in-charge minister Krishna J Palemar, SP Dr Subrahmanyeshwara Rao, DK Zilla Panchayat President Santhosh Bhandary, Zilla Panchayat CEO Shivashankar, Former Mayor Shankar Bhat, ASP Amith Singh, Navin Shetty and others held the baton before handing it over to Ganapathy Nayak, Silver Medallist at the Srilankan Sports Meet held in Colombo in 1970.
The relay later proceeded to Town Hall through Bejai Church Road, Lalbhag, PVS Circle, Ambedkar Circle, and Hampankatta. Wing Commander also handed over the memento to assistant commissioner Prabhulinga Kavalakatti, Zilla Panchayath CEO Shivashankar and Police Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh.
Various cultural programmes like cultural dance by team Sanathana Natyalaya, Taleemu by Rudranjaneya team of Kaup, Kangeelu dance, Dudi Kunitha and Tiger dance by Bajilakeri Kamalaksha were held.
“We are excited that 72 days history has been recorded by the multi media team of Marwah studios till now.” said Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and partners with Commonwealth Games for Queen’s Baton Relay international coverage.

Marwah Studios Team With CWG QBR At Hassan
HASSAN : 5th sept. The Multimedia Team of Marwah Studios is moving with The Queen’s Baton 2010 Delhi and now has reached Hassan, whose history dates back to the 11th century, after leaving the Karnataka capital Bangalore on Saturday. As in its journey around the Commonwealth and now in India, the Queen’s Baton helped spread the message of sport in the run up to next month’s Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi.
Four winners of Karnataka State’s Ekalavya Award – volleyball players T R. Ravindra and Supriya, kho kho star TS Siddhalinga Moorthy and ball badminton player Mahadev Gowda – joined Hassan district Deputy Commissioner Mr. Navin Raj Singh and Superintendent of Police Mr. Sharad Chauhan in leading thousands of residents who welcomed the baton.
In keeping with the trend witnessed on its journey so far, flowers were showered on the baton, firecrackers were burst and many tricoloured balloons were released to mark the arrival of the baton in the city. An enthusiastic crowd lined up along the 5.2 km relay from the district border to the city stadium.
“On its way from Bangalore to Hassan the baton received a grand welcome at the Mahatma Gandhi Government Pre University at Kunigal.” Informed Sandeep Marwah while speaking to Radio Noida who are partners with Multi Media Team.
Sandeep Marwah Addressed on Teacher’s Day
“First of all I am must bow before my teachers who all have trained me to an extent that I could become teacher my self” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Director of Asian Education Group which has trained more than 8000 media professionals from 75 countries in the last 18years of education and has emerged as one of the finest institutions in the World for Film, Television and Media studies.
On this auspicious Teacher’s Day which We celebrate on 5th September, the birth anniversary of Dr Radhakrishnan, our former President, all over the country to honor and to express our nation’s gratitude to all teachers for their dedicated service to the nation, Asian Education Group also had a special meeting to address the faculty.
“We at Asian Education Group consisting of Asian Business School (ABS), Asian School of Media Studies (ASMS), Asian School of Graphics and Animation (ASGA), Asian School of Performing Arts (ASPA) and Asian Academy of Film And television (AAFT) are concerned and worried about each and every student to whom we give admission. Selection Of Kaun Banega Crorepati At Marwah Studios
The huge crowd was waiting for the gates of Marwah Studios to open on 4th September at Noida Film City where huge cutouts of Amitabh Bachchan were displayed in every corner of the studios changing the ambience to Crorepati grounds.
“I am happy to see educated and excited participants who all have come from far off places to get selected in this most interesting show” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and founder of Film City. “There is hardly a space left to park cars and two wheelers in the whole complex of film city” he added.
The phone lines for the fourth season opened on August 2, 2010 at 9 PM and Amitabh Bachchan has been roped in once again to host it. Though, Sony TV has yet not announced the day on which KBC 4 will go on air. It is believed that the show will go on air from October 11, 2010; which happens to be Amitabh's Birthday.
The show has now shifted from Star Plus to Sony Television but the faces behind the curtain will be same as Siddhartha Basu remains director and creative head. The new logo designed for KBC Season 4 incorporated The New Indian Rupee Symbol which was unveiled in the same year.

Sandeep Marwah Will Promote Mahatma Gandhi Forum
“We will not wait for 2nd October to start our new working in this forum, Gandhi’s thoughts are available to us every minute” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chairperson of Mahatma Gandhi Forum talking to the young media persons at Noida film city.
“I am looking for some short films which I would like to produce right now under this forum which should lead directly to thinking process of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation” added Sandeep Marwah who has been propagating Gandhian thinking from last 30 years in India and abroad.
The Gandhi forum which is supported by more than 8000 media persons of the country is supported by the International Public Broadcasting Forum also for making of the short films on ‘Gandhi vichardhara’. A new program has also been devised to speak for Gandhi on weekly basis on Radio Noida which has become the most popular station in this part of the country.
“In September itself we will start our first short film project on Mahatma Gandhi’ Marwah confirmed to the national press. All facilities will be provided by Marwah Studios to the film team.
Workshop On Red Camera By Sethu Sriram At AAFT
“I would like to come back to AAFT for more time to part with my knowledge on camera and lighting with the young camera persons who are looking enthusiastic and eager to learn” said renowned camera person Sethu Sriram famous for feature films like Wanted, Shakti –The Power, Money Hai To Honey Hai, Tere Sang, Tere Naam, Thanmanthra, Annavaram while interacting with the students at Asian Academy of Film And Television
A special workshop has been designed by AAFT for the students of Camera and Lighting Techniques on the latest Red Camera by Sethu Sriram coordinated by Prof. Kalyan Sarkar at the campus at Noida Film City.
“There is hardly a channel or a production house where our camera students are not working” said Sandeep Marwah president of Marwah Studios and Director of AAFT while introducing the guest to camera students.
Giving ample examples from his works of feature films and discussing his latest work on Red Camera Sethu Sriram spent a lot of time in answering the questions of young film makers. The workshop was supported by International Film And Television Research Centre.

Sanjay Kapoor At Asian School of Media Studies For Master Class

Queen’s Baton Relay is Covered By Marwah Studios For 100 Days
The Queen’s Baton Relay which was received at Wagah Boarder by Indians from Pakistan has already traveled a long distance from north to south a journey of 68 days which will be completing 100 days when it is back at Delhi for final games.
The relay is every days event and spreading a great enthusiasm and excitement where ever the torch is touching the place. The whole day’s events are covered by the professional Multi Media team of Marwah Studios. The team of Marwah Studios is busy in recording 8 to 10 hours of every day’s events, which is edited to 3 minutes coverage so that it can be relayed to the World Press.
“I am proud to say that our students of Asian School Of Media Studies have done a commendable job by arranging and rearranging equipments, man power to cover this biggest International event of the country” said Sandeep Marwah president of Marwah Studios and Director of ASMS.
The Queen’s Baton Relay 2010 Delhi commenced from Buckingham Palace, London, on the 29 October 2009. The baton has travelled through all other 70 Commonwealth nations – a historic journey that has covered a distance of more than 170,000 kilometers in 240 days. On its 100 day national tour, the baton will visit the capital of each of India’s 28 states and seven union territories, plus many other cities along the way, covering more than 20,000 kilometers. By the end of its journey, the baton will have traversed over 190,000 kilometers in 340 days, making the Queen’s Baton Relay 2010 Delhi one of the longest relays in the history of the Commonwealth Games.
