A good education not only educate and train you but also built up the character and personality of the student” said Salman Khurshid union minister of state for Corporate Affairs and Minority Affairs, Government of India while giving the valedictory address to the passing out media students of the 68th batch of Asian Academy of Film And Television at Noida Film City.
Asian Academy of Film And Television conducted 600 hours of training program and invited 70 film and television professional and personalities, had 34 interactions, workshops, seminars, symposiums, festivals, film events, shows, releases, etc. during 68th batch. More than 100 training films have been made in association with Marwah Productions in this batch informed Prof. Gurbir Grewal Additional Director, AAFT.
“We have left no stone unturned to bring media education to an international level. With the completion of 68th batch we have touched 75 countries of the World and now we are number one institute in the country as far as foreign enrolment is concerned” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Director of AAFT.
Salman Khurshid handed over the prestigious Diploma of AAFT to 76 students hailing from all over India and countries like Ghana, Nigeria, Greece, Netherland, Bhutan etc this time. Others who spoke on the occasion were Prof. R.K.Singh Dean Asian School of Media Studies, Prof. Satish Annd Dean Asian School of Performing Arts, Dr.Akhilesh Sharma and Prof. Kalyan Sarkar Dean AAFT paid formal vote of thanks. Sandeep Marwah honored Salman Khurshid with the life membership of International Film And Television Club.
