“There are very few organizations in India which are promoting sports to National level, and very few which are awarding sports persons for their achievements at state or national level. We have taken this responsibility to highlight our achievers to better platform” said Sandeep Marwah National Chairperson of Indian Sports and Cultural Society on its 1oth Annual day celebrations at Srifort Auditorium at New Delhi.“We will leave no stone unturned to make the activities of this organization national and to promote youth to be part of sports activities” expressed B.C.Bose Secretary General of the organization.
Chief Guest on the occasion Nila Mohanan IAS from the office of Delhi Chief Minister said “We need these voluntary organizations to come forward and encourage youth to take interest in sports. We have to do a lot in sports and this event is a wonderful step in the series”. Later she distributed awards to young sports persons and honored veteran sports achievers with Rashtriya Sports Award followed by cultural program by the students of Asian School of Media Studies.
