War Chhod Na Yaar is India’s first war comedy movie directed and written
by Faraz Haider, who has
assisted Dibakar Banerjee on “Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!” and a German
director in the past. Faraz Haider has learned his film making from Asian
Academy of Film And Television Noida.
Sharman Joshi, Soha Ali Khan, Jaaved
Jaafer. Sanjai Mishra,
Dalip Tahil and Mukul Dev are playing important
characters in the film. The treatment of the humor in War Chhod Na Yaar has
many layers; mostly situational, sometimes spoofy, sometimes slapstick,
sometimes tongue-in-cheek, and sometimes even over-the-top.
“Students of AAFT are doing extremely well in
the industry, they have brought the name of the institute to the highest level”
said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.
The movie is produced by AOPL Entertainment Pvt
Ltd,
which has successfully completed 4 movies in Malayalam and is now entering Bollywood
with War Chhod Na Yaar. The film is releasing on 11 October 2013.
