The UN General Assembly designated the
first Monday of October of every year as World Habitat Day. This year, the
United Nations chose the theme ‘Voices from Slums’. The World Habitat
Day 2014 campaign aims to recognize life in slums.
World Habitat Day has given a voice to slum dwellers for
improving quality of living conditions in existing slums by raising
awareness of living conditions in slums;

Marwah President Marwah Studios and Ambassador IHRO affiliated to United
Nations informed members of the press how they are taking care of more than 800
students in ten different schools in ten slums and providing them free
education. Apni Library, Apna Computer Centre and other medical and
recreational facilities support Apna Schools.
International
Children’s Film Forum of Marwah Studios provides free screening of good cinema
and value-based cinema to different slums all over Delhi and NCR added Marwah.
