New Delhi; Visit of H.E.Amadou Moustapha
DIOUF Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Senegal
to India at ICMEI –International Chamber of Media And Entertainment
Industry followed by the visit of Cultural Minister H.E.Abdoul Aziz MBAYE
and formation of Indo Senegal Cultural Forum has given to a very active
committee of Senegal to India.
“My visit to Senegal was the 17th state visit of
India to Senegal. Earlier 14 Fertilizers Minister and then 2 Industry Ministers
Government of India had visited Senegal. I was the first person from Media And
Entertainment Industry in 55 years,” informed Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI
to the new Ambassador.
Seminars, conferences, one to one meetings with Ministry of
Culture, Ministry of Communication, Animation School and Historical Centers,
film theatres, Radio Station and Television Station left huge impact and made
it a historical visit of Sandeep Marwah to Senegal.
“We welcome you and honor your visit. It is a day of
excitement and we are sure we will take the movement much ahead. Both of us
India and Senegal can do a lot in the field of film, television and media, art
and culture,” said H.E. El hadji Ibou Boye Ambassador of
Senegal to India.
