Noida: AAFT School of Performing Arts
appreciated the deep knowledge of the great music maestro Pandit Roy Chaudhary
when he was invited to take the workshop at Noida Film City.
“We are thankful to Pandit Biswajit and his
complete team for sharing his experience with the students of performing arts.
Students are amazed with his
presentation,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group. Spic
Macay supported the event.
“It is my interest to teach students and
clear their wrong notions if any regaring music especially classical music,”
said Pandit Chaudhary while answering the questions.
Pandit Biswajit Roy Chaudhary was
initiated into music by his father Shri Ranajit Roy Chowdhary, a serious Sarod player trained under
the Late Ustad Hafiz Ali Khan and others. In 1978, Roy Chowdhury's talents were
spotted by the Maestro Ustad Amjad Ali
Khan accepting him as a disciple.
Over
the years Biswajit Roy Chowdhary has performed in various locations all over
India and has participated regularly in some of the prestigious concerts. These
include The Tansen Festival in Gwalior, the Shankar Lal FestivalDelhi, the
Harvallabh Sangeet Samaroha in Jalundhar, the Vishnu Digambar Jayanti in
Delhi,. He recorded the album "The Sarod Master" for Hot Club Records, produced by guitar player Jon Larsen.
Later Sandeep Marwah honored and Presented the life membership of International Film And Television Club to Panditji.
