Teej Festival Celebrated With Pomp And Show |
New Delhi: A colorful event on
the web with traditional dresses brought lots of enthusiasm in the life of
members of Rajasthan Academy, who all are right now stuck up at home because of
the Corona Virus Pandemic. The members paid their tribute to late R.N. Lakhotia
who founded this organization around thirty years back.
“Teej festival we have been
celebrating for years, this time we have asked members to come with traditional
dresses on web. The idea is to bring joy and cheers in life even though we all
are staying indoors.” said Gaurav Gupta, President of Rajasthani Academy.
“Celebrating
Teej is a symbol of a woman's love and sacrifice. Let's celebrate the festival
with happiness and joys. May the festival of Teej fill your life with
ecstasy, ensure the well being of your spouse and children, and purify your
body and soul. A very Happy Teej to all,” said Dr
Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor AAFT University who also narrated two wonderful poetries
to the full house initiating the program.
“I may be the eldest most
here let me bless you all on this auspicious day of Teej. With the grace of God
we all will be together next year celebrating Teej with great pomp and show,”
said K. L. Ganju Consul General of Comoros in India joined web with his wife in
the capacity of Chief Guest.

The event was attended by S k
Gupta chairman EVP, Seema Ghumber Zee TV- Delhi Darling star and many other
esteemed guests including diplomats and members from various association who
all presented melodious songs, heart touching poems, shayaris and
colorful dances.
The three hours long program
was beautifully organized anchored by Suman Maheshwari, Secretary of Rajasthani
Academy keeping the festive spirit intact. Sandeep Goel paid vote of thanks and
congratulated for the grand success.
