| ICMEI Promoted Aatmanirbhar Bharat on Pravasi Diwas |
Noida: Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is celebrated once in every two years to strengthen the engagement of the overseas Indian community with the Government of India and reconnect them with their roots. The theme of 16th PBD Convention 2021 was “Contributing to Aatmanirbhar Bharat”.
“Aatmanirbhar Bharat or Self Reliant India, announced on 12th May, 2020, is a vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the aim of making the country independent against the tough competition in the global supply chain and empowering the citizens to become self- reliant in all senses, particularly the poor, who have been adversely affected by COVID-19 pandemic,” informed Sandeep Marwah Global President of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry while talking to the members all over the World.
“We are promoting the theme of this year. The five pillars of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ are stated as economy, infrastructure, technology-driven systems, vibrant demography and demand. My definition to Aatmanirbhar is Ambitious, Acceptability, Tough, Motivational, Attitude, Nationalist, Informative, Responsible, Belief, Humanity, Aggressive and Result Oriented,” expressed Sandeep Marwah.
