We are happy to announce Dr. Sandeep Marwah as the patron of the organisation. He has been part of the organisation from the beginning of the association when his name was referred by Jai Chandiram, our founder,” said Aradhana Kohli who is Founder of Enable India Foundation a communication praxis. She makes documentaries, curates film festivals, works extensively with urban poor, especially women and children exploring use of technology to help articulate their felt needs.

IAWRT Chapter India began in 2005 under the leadership of the first Managing Trustee, Jai Chandiram, also that time board member of AAFT. The vision of IAWRT Chapter India is to enable perspective building on issues faced by women media practitioners, while keeping a sharp focus on the changing media landscape, and work towards creating spaces free from bias, discrimination and abuse, for women media practitioners.

New Delhi: Renowned documentary film maker Ajay Chitnis will make documentary on renowned international film, television, and media personality Sandeep Marwah who is the founder of Noida Film City and President of Marwah Studios, soon.

“I am amazed by the achievements of Dr Sandeep Marwah. He has done remarkably well and created number of international records for himself. His contribution to media and entertainment industry is huge,” said Ajay Chitnis ready to launch his documentary.

Ajay Chitnis is a documentary film maker with more than 120 documentaries to his credit. He chronicles lives of people who have carved a niche for themselves in a program titled Trailblazers which is aired on Zee Business. He has covered the journey of people in his program including noted Lawyer Ram Jethmalani, MD of Gionee Arvind Vohra, CMD of Romsons Kishore Khanna, Dr Lalit Khaitan to name few.

He also has the privilege of doing biopic on Dr N.A. Kalyani the founder of Bharat Forge. His documentary on gender bias fetched him 12 awards in India. He is the recipient of many international awards too. Dr. Sandeep Marwah honored Ajay with life membership of International Journalism Centre of ICMEI on his visit to Marwah Studios and invited him on the board of AAFT School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain,” said Sandeep Marwah inaugurating the musical evening planned by the students of AAFT School of Performing Arts at Marwah Studios.

Some of the finest Ghazals were sung by the students and mesmerised the audience. Sandeep Marwah also presented book on Raj Kapoor written by Rahul Rawail to all the dignities in return Tejendra Sharma presented his newly released book to Dr. Sandeep Marwah. One and all appreciated the powerful musical presentations by the young singers and musicians.

Renowned Hindi Writer from London Tejendra Sharma, President COWE Noida Meetu Puri, Renowned Kathak Exponent Deepak Maharaj, Vice Chairman Inventivepreneur Chamber of Commerce and Industries Rishab Malhotra, Ashok Gupta of Advik Publishers were the guest of honour on the occasion. Noida: “Every human contributes to the world in some way, whether through positive or negative actions. Social workers can contribute goodness and light, helping people see hope rather than despair. In turn, they can have hope for positive outcomes in their own lives,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios while lighting the ceremonial lamp on the inauguration of Aashray a branch of Indian Center for Development and Rights at sector 72, Noida.

“More often than not, survivors of trauma lack the words to express their grief and fear. Social workers recognize the need and are the first to respond. They are the ones who can speak hope into the hearts of the hurting,” added Dr. Marwah congratulating the young team of social workers of Aashray for coming forward and  to help the society.

Indian Center for Development and Rights is a social organization which has been working in the field of skill training, women empowerment, education and livelihood generation for a long time and this center  Aashray is extention to their existing work towards society. The main objective of “Aashray” is to enable the economically weaker sections of the society.

Students of UK Hindi Samiti Visited Marwah Studios

A group of Hindi Speaking British People Visited Marwah Studios

Noida: A group of Hindi Speaking students from different cities of United Kingdom learning under UK Hindi Samiti visited Marwah Studios at Noida Film City during their trip to India under the leadership of Surekha Chophla.

Fifteen students of the group participated in Radio Noida Hindi Program and interacted in a talk show for a special program for MSTV. They went around in Marwah Studios and saw various activities related to films, television, and cinema.

“I am thankful to Dr. Padmesh Gupta of Oxford Business College for once again recommending us as part of the study tour of students of UK Hindi Samiti. We have been promoting Hindi in a big way. Not only Radio, News Paper, Television but we have also started the most powerful Hindi Cinema Rashtriya Samman for Film makers of Hindi Cinema,” informed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

AAFT Scholarship for Guyana Student

Paolo Venturini was born in Padua on March 13th of 1968. Since he was a child, he had always been fond of sports, especially football and athletics. It is running, though, that brings him participating in his first competition at the tender age of 7. He takes part in his first marathon at the age of 23 and in ultra-marathon in 2004, running all middle distances. Nowadays Paolo lives nearby the Colli Euganei regional park, a stunning open-air gym where he trains every day.

Paolo develops a particular interest for the world of Mountain Bike, which is a relevant part of his athletic career. All his bike adventures have been carried out alone, without technical assistance, representing this way world premieres. Paolo’s career stands out for the extraordinary character of his challenges that, in addition to being off the charts, contribute to sport medicine research, in both the fields of running and cycling.

ICMEI Signed MOU with Freizeit Media to Showcase AAFT Films

Noida: A MOU was signed between ICMEI-International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and Freizeit Media Private Limited under the leadership of Neha Singh to showcase AAFT films on this new Channel.

AAFT has been producing large number short films around the year with the support of Marwah Films and Video Production to promote the young talented film makers educated and trained by Asian Academy of Film and Television. These films are already can be seen on MSTV of Marwah Studios. By joining hands with Freizeit Media, the visibility has been extended to new audience.

“I am happy to join hands with AAFT through ICMEI, we will be able to give large exposure and promote new talent through our OTT Channel,” said Neha Singh founder of the Channel.

“We are ready with a set of films which we will deliver to Freizeit Media to broadcast on their Channel soon,” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

Noida: A powerful workshop on writing by a well-known writer, art director & producer from Netherlands Jolein Laarman was conducted for the students of Asian Academy of Film and television at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida to support the current syllabus on Writing for Cinema.

“Writing is the best way to express your own self. When you write you share your lifetime experiences with many other people who are nor fortunate enough to have all those kind of experiences during their lifetime. It is the best way to entertain yourself. To write well you must read a lot,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios initiating the subject.

“People who are part of films, television, and media, must get into the habit of writing. The faintest ink is more powerful than strongest memory. The instances, happenings, your observations can get you write better book, script, and screenplay. You can master in writing only when you start writing,” said award winning writer Jolein Laarman known for her projects like Kauwboy, Do Not Hesitate, Katia’s Sister and many more.

The workshop was followed by a question answer session by the students of cinema and writing department.  Dr, Sandeep Marwah presented the life membership of Asian Academy of Film and Television to Jolein Laarman and the Wicher J Slater First Secretary from the Embassy of Netherlands who was also part of the program. Noida: AAFT School of Journalism and Mass Communication in association with ICMEI-International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry celebrated National Press Day at Marwah Studios which falls on 16^th November every year.

The day is celebrated to commemorate a free and responsible press. It was on this day that the Press Council of India started functioning as a moral watchdog to ensure that the press maintains high standards and is not fettered by any influence or threats.

“Let us celebrate the occasion of National Press Day by thanking all the press professionals for doing their job and serving us with the latest happenings around the world. If there is not a responsible and dutiful press in a nation, the nation cannot progress and prosper,” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI  wishing all the faculties and students of AAFT School of Journalism and Mass Communication a very Happy National Press Day.

Noida: Children’s Day is celebrated across India to raise awareness about the rights, education, and welfare of children. It is celebrated on 14 November every year on the birthday of the First Prime Minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who was known to have been fond of children. On this day,  an educational and motivational program for children was held at AAFT.

“Every child is special and unique. The most precious thing in this world is the smile on the face of a child. Every child should grow with love and care,” said Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts while releasing the poster of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on 14^th November the birth anniversary of first Prime Minister of India at Marwah Studio, Noida Film City.

New Delhi: Indo Ireland Film and Cultural Forum in association with Embassy of Ireland in India along with Siraj Zaidi planned a festival of films from Ireland to be conducted on 30^th November and 1^st December 2022 at Marwah Studios Film City Noida.

“We are very excited with the first ever festival of films from Ireland at Marwah Studios. We have already requested H.E. Brendan Ward Ambassador of Ireland to India to inaugurate the festival and bless us. Few important dignities are also joining from Ireland including our associate Siraj Zaidi” said Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry.

“I have been conducting Festival of Films from India in Ireland, this is the first chance I will get associated with Irish Film Festival in New Delhi -NCR, India. Asian Academy Presented A colourful Program by Students at Marwah Studios

Noida: A colourful extravaganza was created by Asian Academy of Arts in association with Foundation for Krishna Kala and Education Society to provide an opportunity to young talent to showcase their arts in Dance Drama and Music at Marwah Studios Film City Noida.

“Great dancers are not great because of their technique; they are great because of their passion. Actors are agents of change. A film, a piece of theatre, a piece of music or a book can make a difference. It can change the world. For an artist, screams of adoration and praise is the reward for spilling your guts on the stage,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Arts motivating students of different streams.

Large number of students from different school and colleges participated and exhibit dance and musical performances which were worth praising. A competition brought best out of them. Many students were awarded with mementos and cash prizes by the sponsors including students from AAFT School of Performing Arts & AAFT School of Cinema. This art event organised by award winning art curator Vikram Sethi comprised of nine artists from different parts of the country and abroad including Rupali Jhaveri from Mumbai, Reetu  Chopra from Gurugram, Pratima Bisen, Monika Sharma, Kanchen Shekhawat, Anita Trehan from Delhi, Dr.Vandana Kaushal from Ludhiana, Soraia Garcia from Spain and Artworks of a private collector Sapna Gupta  again from Delhi.

New Delhi: A well planned conference was conducted at the Embassy of Azerbaijan in New Delhi where H.E. Ashraf Ambassador of Azerbaijan to India proposed and offer to Indian organizations to have association and affiliation with different establishments of Azerbaijan.

International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry through its body Indo Azerbaijan film and Cultural Forum is ready to join hands with film, TV, and media companies of Azerbaijan along with educational institutions to promote relation between two countries.

ICMEI and IAFCF will also promote Azerbaijan’s locations to Indian Film Makers and promote tourism with the local people through travel fraternity.

“We are planning to have a road show in association with Embassy of Azerbaijan where people from Travel and Tourism Fraternity will interact with Embassy of Azerbaijan. Some attractive films will be shown to cover the country’s best locations,” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

“We will look for a common date to promote tourism jointly. I am very familiar with the dynamism of ICMEI Team,” said H.E. Ashraf Ambassador of Azerbaijan to India.
