Noida: “Every human contributes to the world in some way, whether through positive or negative actions. Social workers can contribute goodness and light, helping people see hope rather than despair. In turn, they can have hope for positive outcomes in their own lives,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios while lighting the ceremonial lamp on the inauguration of Aashray a branch of Indian Center for Development and Rights at sector 72, Noida.
“More often than not, survivors of trauma lack the words to express their grief and fear. Social workers recognize the need and are the first to respond. They are the ones who can speak hope into the hearts of the hurting,” added Dr. Marwah congratulating the young team of social workers of Aashray for coming forward and to help the society.
Indian Center for Development and Rights is a social organization which has been working in the field of skill training, women empowerment, education and livelihood generation for a long time and this center Aashray is extention to their existing work towards society. The main objective of “Aashray” is to enable the economically weaker sections of the society.
ISS officers Manoj Kumar, Siddharth Sahu, founder of ICFDR and Umeed foundation Dhawal Patel, Himanshu Chaurasia, Members of CoGrad Pvt. Ltd. Sourav Yadav, Preeti Banjare, Yoshita Yadav including volunteers from corporate like Microsoft, Adobe, Cisco were also present on the occasion.
