New Delhi, 6th Sept. 2023: In a remarkable display of camaraderie and international collaboration, the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, bestowed the prestigious patronship of the newly established Indo-Tajikistan Film and Cultural Forum upon His Excellency Lukmon Bobokalonzoda, the esteemed Ambassador of Tajikistan to India. This momentous occasion coincided with the official formation of the forum, symbolizing a shared commitment to enhancing cultural ties between the two nations.
H.E. Lukmon Bobokalonzoda, whose distinguished career in diplomacy has been characterized by dedication and excellence, expressed his gratitude for being appointed as the Patron of the Indo-Tajikistan Film and Cultural Forum.
Before assuming his current role as Ambassador to India, Mr. Bobokalonzoda held significant positions within the Tajikistan government, including serving as Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Tajikistan to the United Nations in New York, Deputy Head of the Department of International Organizations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, and subsequently as the Head of the Department for External Economic Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
