Noida, India – The 9th Global Literary Festival in Noida saw a confluence of literary minds and creative enthusiasts, as they gathered to unravel the profound impact of literature on shaping individual and collective identities. The seminar, an intellectually charged affair, delved into the essence of words and their transformation into the fabric of a nation’s culture.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the 9th Global Literary Festival, passionately initiated the discourse by highlighting the pivotal role literature plays in etching the annals of history and seamlessly weaving into the cultural tapestry of a country. “What you write becomes history, then it gets converted into literature, later it comes back as culture of the country,” he emphasized. The profound importance of adept writing in the development and promotion of a nation’s culture was underscored, encapsulating the deep-rooted influence literature has on communities and countries.
Esteemed speakers from various walks of life contributed their insights during this enlightening session. Aryan Singh, a distinguished Screenwriter and Director hailing from Mumbai, shared his perspectives on the symbiotic relationship between literature and identity. Dr. P K Rajput, Author and representative of SVP Cadila Pharma Ltd. from Ahmedabad, emphasized the far-reaching influence literature wields in sculpting societal paradigms.
Dr. Rama Singh, an esteemed Author and Poet, along with Raghubir Sharma, Asst. Director of Rajbhasha Vibhag, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, brought their rich experiences to the forefront, delving into the intricate connection between literature and the collective psyche of a nation. Dr. Ruchi Chawla Batra, a celebrated Author, presented her unique perspective on literature’s transformative power. Emile Mwepesi, Second Secretary at the High Commission of Rwanda, and Alfredo Caldera, Cultural Counsellor at the Embassy of Venezuela, brought an international dimension to the dialogue, elucidating the universality of literature in shaping identities worldwide.
In a momentous gesture, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, the Festival’s President, presented Festival Mementoes to all the dignitaries as a token of appreciation for their invaluable contributions to the literary world. The event also marked the release of Dr. Ruchi Chawla Batra’s book, “The Timeless Wisdom of Flozy Reiki,” adding a literary gem to the festival’s repertoire.
