Noida: In a historic and momentous occasion, the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) unveiled the Indo-Algeria Film and Cultural Forum at its Global Headquarters located in Marwah Studios Film City, Noida. The initiative, created in collaboration with the Embassy of Algeria in India, marks a significant step towards fostering cultural exchange and strengthening ties between the people of Algeria and India through the medium of art and culture.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by H.E. Ali Achoui, the esteemed Ambassador of Algeria to India, who attended as the Chief Guest. In a simple yet impactful ceremony, the Indo-Algeria Film and Cultural Forum was officially launched, symbolizing the commitment to promoting mutual understanding and appreciation of the diverse cultural heritage of both nations.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts, received congratulations from H.E. Ali Achoui for spearheading this significant initiative. The Ambassador acknowledged Dr. Marwah’s dedication to promoting the art and culture of Algeria and commended his efforts to foster and enhance the bilateral relations between Algeria and India through the platform of art and culture.
“I am privileged to inaugurate and launch the first-ever Indo-Algeria Film and Cultural Forum here in India. I am sure we will go a long way, and this organization will result in being an asset for both countries,” expressed H.E. Ali Achoui, Ambassador of Algeria to India.
During his visit, H.E. Ali Achoui had the opportunity to explore the world-class infrastructure of Marwah Studios and engage with the students of the Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT). The interaction provided a glimpse into the vibrant creative environment fostered at Marwah Studios, leaving a positive impression on the Ambassador and attendees.
