Noida: The Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT) and the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) have formed a strategic partnership with the New Delhi Film Foundation (NDFF). The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) marks a significant step towards promoting Indian cinema at Marwah Film City.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of AAFT and ICMEI, along with Ashish K Singh, Founder and General Secretary of NDFF, and Ajit Rai, were present at the signing ceremony. This collaboration aims to enhance the landscape of Indian cinema through various initiatives and projects that will be hosted and planned together at Marwah Film City.
“Cinema is the magical art form that transcends boundaries, bringing stories to life and emotions to the surface. It is a powerful medium that unites people, offering a window into diverse cultures, perspectives, and experiences,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah while handing over the copy of the MOU.
The New Delhi Film Foundation is a non-profit film society registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, with its operations extending across India. Its primary objective is to watch cinema, talk cinema, learn cinema, and make cinema together. The foundation strives to create sensitivity and understanding in society for sensible and sincere cinema. Many of its founding members are seasoned professionals in journalism and filmmaking.
This collaboration is poised to bring a new era of creative synergy and cultural exchange, further enriching the Indian cinematic landscape.
