Noida: In a significant move to strengthen cultural ties between India and Spain, renowned film, television, and media personality Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been appointed Chair of the newly established Indo-Spain Film and Cultural Forum. The appointment was made by His Excellency Mr. Juan Antonio March Pujol, the Ambassador of Spain to India, during a special ceremony where Dr. Marwah was presented with a certificate of nomination.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the appointment, Ambassador March Pujol stated, “Dr. Sandeep Marwah is an international personality, well-traveled, and a vital part of the global business community. His leadership as Chair of the Indo-Spanish Forum will bring vibrant new colors to our already well-established relationship with India.”
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, who is also the Founder of Noida Film City, President of Marwah Studios, and Chancellor of AAFT University, expressed his gratitude for the appointment. “I am thankful to the Ambassador for entrusting me with this responsibility, which I wholeheartedly accept. We will work tirelessly to foster better relations and greater awareness of the strong bond between India and Spain,” said Dr. Marwah.
In addition to his roles at Noida Film City and AAFT University, Dr. Marwah serves as the President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), making him an influential figure in the media and cultural sectors both nationally and internationally.
The Indo-Spain Film and Cultural Forum aims to promote deeper collaboration between the two nations in the fields of film, art, culture, and media, contributing to the enrichment of cultural exchanges between India and Spain.
