Noida, India – The 8th Edition of the prestigious Dr. Sarojni Naidu International Award for Working Women was celebrated with distinction at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City, recognizing the extraordinary contributions of 100 women from India and across the globe. Supported by the Asian Academy of Arts, AAFT University, the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, and the International Women’s Forum, the event underscored the transformative role of women in driving societal progress and economic growth.
The awards recognized remarkable women excelling in diverse domains such as business, arts, culture, law, media, cinema, management, science, research, education, social work, and beyond. Each recipient, a testament to dedication and innovation, has played a vital role in advancing society through their unique contributions.
Distinguished international guests, Her Excellency Dr. Capaya Rodriguez G, Ambassador of Venezuela to India, and Her Excellency Adv. Lebohang Valentine Mochaba, High Commissioner of Lesotho, were honored at the event. Both leaders expressed their gratitude, acknowledging the importance of women’s empowerment as a unifying cause for nations. Dr. Rodriguez lauded Dr. Sandeep Marwah, the driving force behind the awards, for his commitment to recognizing and supporting women across all sectors. Adv. In his keynote speech, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder of Noida Film City and President of the Sarojni Naidu Awards, inspired the audience with a call to action.
