Award of Distinction for Spanish Film “The Olive Tree” at 17th Global Film Festival Noida
Noida, India: The 17th Global Film Festival Noida witnessed a momentous occasion on its second day with the inauguration of the Spanish film “The Olive Tree” directed by the renowned Iciar Bollain. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of H.E. Juan Antonio March Pujol, Ambassador of Spain to India, and President of Screen Writers Association Preeti Mamgain at Marwah Film City, Noida.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, expressed his pride in hosting this prestigious event, which marked the second major initiative under the recently established Indo Spain Film and Cultural Forum. This forum, supported by the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and Embassy of Spain, aims to strengthen cultural and cinematic ties between India and Spain.
During the ceremony, the Award of Distinction was presented to “The Olive Tree” in recognition of its artistic brilliance and contribution to global cinema.
