| ICMEI and Indo Spain Film and Cultural Forum Present AAFT Scholarship to Spain |
New Delhi, 27th April 2025: In a significant move to strengthen cultural and educational ties between India and Spain, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair of the Indo Spain Film and Cultural Forum under ICMEI (International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry), presented a prestigious AAFT Scholarship for a deserving student from Spain to H.E. Juan Antonio March Pujol, the Ambassador of Spain to India.
The presentation ceremony was a celebration of the enduring friendship and cooperation between the two nations through the mediums of art, culture, and education.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah emphasized the importance of international educational exchange, stating, “Education and skill development are the strongest bridges between nations. Through this scholarship, we aim to empower young talents from Spain and deepen the cultural understanding between India and Spain. We are proud that AAFT has become a global hub, having extended over 200 scholarships to students from 200 different nations, making it the only institution of its kind in India.”
H.E. Juan Antonio March Pujol expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the initiative, highlighting that this scholarship would not only enhance educational opportunities for Spanish students but also foster stronger people-to-people relations between Spain and India. “Such initiatives help in nurturing global citizens who are well-versed in creativity, innovation, and multicultural understanding. We highly value this partnership with AAFT and ICMEI,” he said.
The scholarship includes enrollment in one of the many internationally acclaimed short-term skill development courses available at AAFT (Asian Academy of Film and Television), spanning various disciplines in media, arts, and creative industries.
This collaboration reaffirms AAFT’s commitment to promoting skill-based education globally and highlights the institution’s reputation as a premier destination for creative education with a strong international presence.
