| Dr Sandeep Marwah Inaugurates “Road to AI Impact Summit 2026” at SRCC, Highlights AI’s Transformative Role in Media |
New Delhi | January 2026: It was a moment of great pride and honour as Dr Sandeep Marwah, Founder of Noida Film City and Chancellor of AAFT University, inaugurated the two-day “Road to AI Impact Summit 2026”, jointly organized by Global Counter Terrorism Council (GCTC) and Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi, in association with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Digital India, and the IndiaAI Mission.
Dr Marwah formally initiated the summit and delivered an insightful inaugural address focusing on the rapidly evolving impact of Artificial Intelligence on films, television, and media. Drawing from his vast global experience, he shared compelling industry perspectives on how AI is reshaping content creation, production workflows, education delivery, and the future of creative professions. His address set the tone for a highly engaging and thought-provoking summit.
The inaugural session was followed by a powerful address from Lt. Gen. Harsh Chibber, AVSM, VSM, Director General of Information Systems, Indian Army, who spoke on strategic dimensions of technology and information systems, and Prof. Simrit Kaur, Principal, Shri Ram College of Commerce, who emphasized the critical role of academic institutions in nurturing future-ready leaders at the intersection of technology, policy, and innovation.
The summit was seamlessly coordinated by Aditya Tikoo, Founder-Convener of the Global Counter Terrorism Council (GCTC), ensuring a high-impact platform for dialogue and collaboration.
The session brought together an eminent gathering of senior leaders from the Indian Armed Forces, diplomats, government officials, representatives of national institutions, and leading think tanks, making it a truly multidisciplinary and high-level engagement on AI, security, governance, and innovation.
