| Eminent Leaders Inaugurate Final Seminar on Constructive Journalism at 14th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2026 |
Noida: The last seminar of the 14th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2026 was inaugurated with great enthusiasm at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida. The session focused on the theme of Constructive Journalism, highlighting the responsibility of media in nation-building and positive storytelling.
The seminar was inaugurated by distinguished dignitaries including Tirath Singh Rawat, Member of Parliament and Former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand; Shahnawaz Ahmad Ansari, Communication Leader & CSR Strategist; Dr. Vipin Gaur, General Secretary, Newspapers Association of India; Kim Myong Chol, First Secretary, Embassy of DPR Korea; BK Husain Didi; and Dr. Amit Pareenja, Certified International Management Consultant & Coach.
Addressing the audience, Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair of the International Journalism Centre, emphasized the need for constructive journalism in the present global environment. “Media has the power to influence society. Constructive journalism is about highlighting solutions, promoting harmony, and inspiring positive change rather than merely focusing on negativity,” he said. He further added that platforms like the Global Festival of Journalism are designed to encourage ethical practices, innovation, and responsible reporting among young journalists.
Speaking on the occasion, Tirath Singh Rawat stressed that journalism must serve as a pillar of democracy by promoting truth, transparency, and development-oriented reporting. He appreciated the initiative of organizing such meaningful seminars that guide media professionals toward responsible and constructive engagement with society.
The panel discussion witnessed active participation from media professionals, academicians, diplomats, and students. The speakers shared insights on balancing critical reporting with solution-based narratives, strengthening public trust in media, and adapting to the changing digital landscape.
