78th AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films Opened

“You can win the heart in few minutes by showing meaningful cinema through short film” said Lalit Bhasin Chairperson of Appellate Tribunal of Censor Board, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Government of India at the inauguration OF 78TH AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films at Noida Film City.

“We have created a World Record. AAFT is the only festival touching 78th Edition, only festival which happens four times in a year, where 1800 films have been shown, where 1100 directors and technical teams from 90 countries got the opportunity to showcase their debut films” narrated Sandeep Marwah President of the festival with the opening remark.

“Today I am in Noida after 28 years, from barren land to city of hopes, let me give credit of this massive change to Sandeep Marwah who has turned the table even in tough circumstances” added Jos De Clercq, first Secretary Trade and Investments Embassy of Belgium in New Delhi.

“I would love to have another show of meaningful short films” said Aruna Sethi Chairperson of Women’s Committee and life Style Committee of IACC. The festival has screened more than 25 films of different genre and by different directors of 78th batch. Indo American Chamber of Commerce was the event partner of the festival.
