World Telecommunication And Information Day At PHD Chamber

“ICTs play a catalytic role in creating opportunities for people in every walk of life. We must ensure that we use them responsibly and with caution, especially while driving in order to avoid accidents and injury” said Sandeep Marwah Chairperson of Entertainment and Media Committee expressing theme presentation at the seminar at PHD Chamber on the celebration of World Telecommunication and Information Society Day declared by United Nation on 17th May.

Prof. R.K.Singh read the message of Ban Ki Moon, Secretary General of United Nation immediate after the formal inauguration of the seminar by Satyendra Garg IPS Inspector General of Police who made the house aware of road accidents and other related problems supported by well designed presentation and statistics.

Later Anil Shukla Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) explained the use of Information and communication technologies in traffic. Others who spoke on the occasion were Ashish Wig Chairperson infrastructure Committee PHD, Dr.H.O.Srivastava of World Development Foundation, S.K.Puri of IntercontinentalConsultants& Technologies and Yogesh Srivastava Secretary Entertainment & Media Committee.
