Media Workshop By World Bank At AAFT

The World Bank has selected Asian Academy of Film And Television Noida as the Centre of Excellence for the delegates from different Universities, colleges, media institutes and departments to have firsthand knowledge of Indian Media and Entertainment Industry. “We are privileged that a high profiled delegation consisting of Vice Chancellors and Director of Media School is here to learn about Indian ways of film making and that charge has been given to us by World Bank Project to conduct four days workshop at Marwah Studios” said Sandeep Marwah inaugurating the workshop by lighting the lamp. “What a spiritual start of the session on film, television and media. It has given us new energy to learn more about the entertainment industry of India” said Lawal James George Director of National Film Institute of Nigeria. The delegation also includes Prof. Rahamon A Bello, Vice Chancellor University of Lagos, Prof Benjamin T Ugwu, Deputy Vice Chancellor of University of Jos, Prof. Ralph A Akinfeleye Chairman & Head, Dr. Ifeoma T. Amobi, Department of Mass Communication, University of Lagos and others.
