| Sandeep Marwah Conducts Research in Thailand on Hospitality and Tourism Industry |
During his visit, Dr. Marwah interacted with professionals, tourism experts, hospitality institutions, and industry stakeholders to gain deeper insights into Thailand’s highly successful tourism model and hospitality management systems. He explored various aspects of tourism promotion, hotel management, cultural tourism, customer experience, and sustainable hospitality practices that have contributed significantly to Thailand’s global tourism success.
While addressing the press in Bangkok, Dr. Sandeep Marwah said, “Thailand has emerged as one of the world’s most preferred tourism destinations because of its excellent hospitality infrastructure, warm culture, efficient tourism management, and strong government-industry coordination. There is a lot India can learn from Thailand in terms of tourism promotion, service standards, and international visitor engagement.”
He further emphasized the importance of research, innovation, skill development, and international collaborations in strengthening the hospitality and tourism sector. “At AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism, we are committed to preparing young professionals with global exposure and practical understanding of international hospitality trends. Such visits and interactions help us bring international best practices into education and training,” he added.
Dr. Marwah also highlighted the role of cultural exchange, media, and events in enhancing tourism opportunities between India and Thailand. He expressed confidence that stronger cooperation between the two nations in tourism, hospitality education, and cultural activities would open new avenues for growth and people-to-people engagement.
The visit is expected to further enhance academic and professional collaborations between institutions associated with AAFT and leading hospitality and tourism organizations in Thailand.
