Noida: The Venezuelan film “The Extra Ordinary Journey of the Dragon”, directed by Kaori Flores Yonekura, was screened to great appreciation at the 14th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2026. The film captivated the audience with its inspiring narrative and creative storytelling.

The screening was formally inaugurated by Mr. Alfredo Caldera, Cultural Counsellor at the Embassy of Venezuela in India, who appreciated the initiative of the festival in promoting international cinema and strengthening cultural ties between nations through the powerful medium of film.

On behalf of the festival management, Dr. Shahi Shaika, Dean of AAFT School of Still Photography, presented the prestigious Award of Distinction to the film, recognizing its artistic merit and meaningful contribution to global cinema.

Noida: The Peruvian film “Yaku Onan – Caminos Del Agua”, directed by Juan Duran, was presented with the prestigious Award of Distinction during the 14th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2026. Noida: A thought-provoking seminar titled “Spotting Fake News: Think Before You Share” was inaugurated at Marwah Studios during the ongoing academic and media engagement programs. The seminar brought together eminent journalists, media leaders, diplomats, and policymakers to deliberate on the growing challenge of misinformation in the digital age.

The distinguished panel included Shahnawaz Ahmad Ansari, Communication Leader and CSR Strategist; Aditi Rajput, Deputy Editor & Anchor at NDTV; Vivek Anand, Prime Time Anchor at Republic Bharat; Kumar Rakesh, Senior Journalist; Dr. Neeraj A. Sharma, Hon. Consul General of the Republic of Palau; Pradeep K. Chandel, National President AHPWI; Sanjay Singh, Senior Resident Editor of Lok Satya Dainik; S. N. Sinha, Veteran Indian Photojournalist and former Photo Editor of Hindustan Times; and Atul Garg, Member of Parliament.

Noida: The Exhibition designed and curated by the students of the AAFT School of Animation was inaugurated with great enthusiasm during the 14th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2026 at Marwah Studios, Film City, Noida. The event witnessed the gracious presence of eminent international dignitaries and distinguished guests from India and abroad.

The exhibition and seminar were formally inaugurated by H.E. Alberto Guani, Ambassador of Uruguay; H.E. Abdullah M Abu Shawesh, Ambassador of Palestine; H.E. Chandradath Singh, High Commissioner of Trinidad & Tobago; and Ruby Yadav, a prominent BJP leader. The exhibition was inaugurated by H.E. Chandradath Singh, High Commissioner of Trinidad and Tobago; H.E. Alberto Guani, Ambassador of Uruguay; and H.E. Noida Film City, India: A powerful and thought-provoking seminar titled “Journalism During Conflict and Crisis: From Local to Global” was inaugurated with great distinction on 12th February – International Journalism Day during the prestigious Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2026 at Marwah Studios.

The seminar was inaugurated by H.E. Alonso Correa Miguel, Ambassador of Panama, in the presence of eminent media professionals and editors including Amrita Garg, Senior News Anchor & Content Producer, News Nation; Raj Kishor, National Editor, Amar Ujala; Dinesh Gautam, Senior Executive Editor, TV9 Bharatvarsh; Pratyush Ranjan, Chief Editor – Digital AI & Fact-Checking at PTI; Prafulkumar Shrivastav, Founder of The Trending Podcast Show; and Parimal Kumar, Senior Journalist & Former Senior Special Correspondent, NDTV.
