Sandeep Marwah Special Invitee At 37th Gdynia Film Festival
Indian film Producer, educator and studios owner Sandeep Marwah and Reena Marwah were the special invitee at the 37th Gdynia Film Festival at Gdynia Poland. Sandeep Marwah was representing Indian film fraternity at the opening of the festival this time as he is already on the tour to propagate the 100 years of Indian cinema.
The festival opening was attended by the known names of Polish Cinema and other important film makers Dorota Kędzierzawska, director and screenwriter ("Nothing", "Time to Die", "Tomorrow Will Be Better") Dorota Kędzierzawska,
Caroline J. Libresco – film producer, non-American cinema programmer at the Sundance Film Festival, Michał Leszczyłowski – editor, director;
Waldemar Kalinowski – production designer, location designer, works in Hollywood;
Others who were present there were Stephen Rea – Irish theatre, film and television actor; Adam Sikora – camera operator, director, screenwriter; Ewa Wiśniewska – film and theatre actress; Zygmunt Miłoszewski – writer, journalist. Marcina Wrona, film, theatre and television director and screenwriter. Apart from Marcin Wrona, the members of the Young Cinema Competition jury will be: Agnieszka Wójtowicz-Vosloo – American writer and film director of Polish descent; Magnus von Horn – graduate of the Directing Department at Łódź Film School (PWSFTViT).
Indian Ambassador to Poland Monika Kapil Mohta with Madhup Mohta, Sunil Ahuja Director of Indian Art & Culture Community Centre with Yyola Ahuja were also part of the show.
