The
management of 6th Global Film Festival Noida 2013 decided this time
to honor three important film makers of the country with life time achievement
award one on each day of the festival.
The third day
of the festival life time achievement award was handed over to the legend of
Indian Film Industry Kumar Shahani by another very well known film maker Saaed
Mirza and Sandeep Marwah.
Kumar Shahani is a noted Indian film director known for his films like Maya Darpan,
Tarang, Khayal Gatha, Kasba and many other documentaries and short films. He is
the recipient of three film fare awards and many other National level and
international awards.
The award was handed over to Kumar Shahani at
Marwah Studios in the presence of Jeno Hodi Film Maker from Hollywood,, Rakesh
Bedi renowned actor, AshokTyagi film Director and a large audience. The
function was followed by an entertainment program.
