Historical Visit of Governor of Kano to Noida Film City


A high profiled delegation lead by the Governor Rabi'u Musa Kwankwaso of State of Kano visited world renowned Marwah Studios at Noida Film City to see for himself the working of a ultra modern film school AAFT-Asian Academy of Film And Television.

A replica of AAFT now is to be established at Tiga, State of Kano by the management of AAFT in shortest period of time. AAFT has already established itself as one of the ten best film schools of the World. It’s a family of 15000 media professionals from 94 countries headed by world record holder Sandeep Marwah.

“We want the best for our talent to nourish in films, television & media and now we are sure that AAFT will provide the complete know how for Kano Film School” said the Governor at a special meeting at New Delhi.


The governor was accompanied by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Rabi'u Sulaiman Bichi, Commissioners for Higher Education and Special Duties, Alhaji Umar Haruna Doguwa and Brig. Gen. Idris Bello Dambazau (rtd) respectively and the Secretary of the state Scholarship Board, Alhaji Usman Sule Ririwai, Former Indian Ambassador to Nigeria Mahesh Sachdev and Poonam Sachdeva of Skipper.
