NFTC-National Federation of
Tourism And Transport Cooperatives of India Limited announced National Road
Safety Week for all over India to bring out road consciousness within the young
and the old people of this country.
“The total deaths in India on
road are even more than the deaths because of heart failure. It is just the negligence
of the drivers and road users” said Sandeep Marwah Managing Director of NFTC.
All schools, colleges and
other educational centers have been contacted and informed to have special
classes on road safety as a part of their regular syllabus.
A film on road safety
prepared by AAFT-Asian Academy of Film And Television was screened to sensitize
the situation. NFTC has announced few more films to be produced on traffic.

M.S. Talwar, Jawahar Khurana, Harshvardhan and others attended the meeting.
