Noida: The renowned music
director Lalit Pandit inaugurated the new batch of School of Performing Arts at
Asian School of Media Studies, at Noida Film City
“It is great pleasure to
inaugurate the new session here. It is rare that a film school promoting a
music school. There is no dearth of business and learning. It’s a unending
subject. You all must grow from here and can do wonders in the industry. If
there is no beginning there will be no end.” said Lalit Pandit celebrated music
director from indian Film Industry.
They have
written the scores for films such as Khiladi, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Khamoshi: The Musical, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Yes Boss, Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Mohabbatein, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham,Fanaa and created a record
for few of the films.
Jatin
and Lalit were born into the Mewati gharana of Jodhpur
in Rajasthan and are nephews of classical exponent Pandit Jasraj. They
received their musical education primarily from their father, Pandit Pratap
Narayan. Pandit brothers were taught guitar and piano by Pyarelal Ramprasad
Sharma, of the Laxmikant-Pyarelal duo.
