A Tribute to The Indian Army |
Noida: “A tribute to
the forces is tribute to the Nation. They are the one who have shed their blood
to give us an independent nation and a very comfortable life to live for ever,”
said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at a grand function organized
by AAFT to mark respect to Indian Army.
“There is no love bigger than the love for the nation. Your
sincerity towards your work and respect towards law is enough to project your
patriotism. Save country from those who are destroying our relations and peace
in the country,” said Dr. Mahesh Sharma Minister for Culture and Tourism,
Government of India in the capacity of Chief Guest.
A silence for two minute was observed to remember all those
who all are not with us any more. A powerful presentation by the students of
Asian School of Performing Arts with patriotic songs created a new energy in
the hall.
Naini Gautam of IHRO- International Human Rights Association
coordinated the program and invited some of the important people of the city to
start a supporting system for army day celebrations. Col. A.K.Tyagi expressed
the role of army in getting independence.
Dr. Mahesh Sharma presented 20 prestigious awards to the
retired Army Personals and to the widows of the officers. Dr. Mahesh Sharma
appreciated the efforts of Marwah Studios in organizing large number of
cultural events to unite the whole nation through art and culture. The event
was attended by who’s who of city of Noida.
