New Delhi: Renowned international media personality Sandeep
Marwah was honored with ‘Bhagat Singh Golden Jubilee Award’ at the Golden
Jubilee of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Delhi University celebrated on 16th
of December at Sri Fort Auditorium in a jam-packed hall with great pomp and
show.
H.E. Jagdish Mukhi Lt. Governor of Andaman & Nicobar,
former Minister Delhi Government and one time professor at Bhagat Singh College
inaugurated the event along with the first lady of Andaman Nicobar Union
Territory. “It is like coming back home, I can not forget the innings which I
have played in this institution they are integral part of my life. I wish
heartiest congratulations to each and every one associated with the college on
Golden Jubilee Celebration,” said Jagdish Mukhi emotionally.
The guest of honor Yoganand Shastri the former speaker of
Delhi Vidhan Sabha and former Professor at Bhagat Singh College also expressed
his feelings and shared wonderful experiences.
Alumnus Sujeet Sarkar renowned film maker popularly known
for his films like Piku, Vicky Donor, Madras Café, Pink, recollected his days
back in college and gave credit to Bhagat Singh college for his growth as
creative person.

Electrifying entertainment program designed by the cultural
department of the college followed the formal function.
