| Darmesh Darshan Honored With Hindi Cinema Gaurav Samman |
New Delhi: A well-known film director Darmesh Darshan was
honored with the most prestigious National award for Hindi cinema- Hindi Cinema
Gaurav Samman for film direction on the 3rd day of 10th
Global Film Festival.
The President of International Chamber of Media And
Entertainment Industry Sandeep Marwah and renowned cine star Jackie Shroff
presented the award to Pankaj Parashar in a jam packed auditorium of Vigyan
Bhawan.
Earlier renowned cine star and member parliament Shartughan
Sinha, Vijay Goel Minister for State Parliamentary Affairs and Statistical
Implementation Government of India had spoken about the role of Hindi cinema in
uniting the nation and developing the language for all these years.
He has been director to popular Hindi cinema Lootre, Raja
Hindustani, Mela, Dharkan, Han Maine Bhi Pyar Kiya, Bewafaa and Aap Ki Khatir
His film Raja Hindustni has been one of the first ten best films of Hindi
Cinema.
