| Ambassador H.E. Thorir Ibsen Patron to IIFCF |
New Delhi: Sandeep Marwah
President of Marwah Studios has presented H.E. Thorir Ibsen Ambassador of
Iceland to India with accreditation to Bangladesh, Malaysia, Maldives,
Mauritius, Nepal, Seychelles, South Africa and Sri Lanka with the Patronship of
Indo Iceland Film And Cultural Forum.
Thorir
was earlier Ambassador of Iceland to the European Union and to Belgium with
accreditation to Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Switzerland, from 2011 to 2014.
He was Ambassador of Iceland to France with accreditation to Andorra, Italy and
Spain. Before that he was Permanent Representative of Iceland to the OECD,
Permanent Delegate of Iceland to UNESCO and Permanent Representative of Iceland
to the Council of Europe. from 2009 to 2011.
Thorir
had also been Head of International Affairs Division, Ministry for the
Environment, Policy Counsellor, Ministry for the Environment, Producer, Icelandic
Broadcasting Service and taught political science and economics at Université
canadienne en France and at York University.
