New Delhi: “ Mahatma Gandhi’s unease at speaking made him an excellent listener, whose humility and empathy allowed him to channel the dreams and aspirations of the masses. His hesitancy with words taught him the power of saying more with less — and today, these words, inflected with the heart and wisdom that have made him an international icon, continue to inspire countless millions across the globe,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chair for Mahatma Gandhi Forum in a webinar organised by GCTC on the Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on 2nd October.
“If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. We need not wait to see what others do. Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony. The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is an attribute of the strong,” said Tara Gandhi Bhattacharya the granddaughter of Mahatma Gandhi repeating and expressing his words of wisdom.
Aditya Tikoo Convenor GCTC conducted the program and paid vote of thanks to all the speakers and participants from school and colleges also.
