Chef Meghna at AAFT University of Media And Arts |
New Delhi: “My plan was to make the recipes as simple as possible; keeping in mind availability and affordability of ingredients, as my followers come from not just Mumbai or Delhi but remote cities of India; who are constantly looking to learn fancy dishes to avoid spending in restaurants, and to eat healthy.” said Chef Meghna while talking to the students of AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism in a webinar.
AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism invited Chef Magna to share her experience at AAFT. “Meghna is one of the most popular Chef today in India. More than one million people are following her recipes. She has been recommending exclusive dishes to her followers every time.
“While her website now ranks in the top 50,000 in India, her recipes have now started showing up among the top 10-20 search results. In fact, Sanjeev Kapoor also acknowledged her work on Twitter recently,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts.
“To make myself marketable, a course was not enough. It was also important to understand what people like to watch; how do you differentiate your work from others – so the marketing side of your work becomes an equally important aspect,” added Chef Meghna. Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented an award to Meghna stating Popular Chef and Food Blogger.
