Noida: AAFT in association with Indo Uzbekistan Film and Cultural Forum organised a powerful musical extravaganza by a popular musical group HAVAS from Uzbekistan for the students of AAFT and members of ICMEI at Marwah Studios Film City Noida inaugurated by H.E. Dilshod Akhatov Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India.
“This is a wonderful example of Indo Uzbekistan Relations where a team from Uzbekistan singing Hindi numbers from Indian films. There cannot be better example of development of art and culture of both the countries together,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT & ICMEI in a jam packed auditorium where audience was anxiously waiting for the musicians to start the show.
“We are happy that we have a very strong and powerful platform of AAFT and ICMEI to start our shows in India. We are honoured to be here to perform for such a energetic audience,” said Rustam leader of the group from Uzbekistan.
“These kind of programs add a lot to the development and maintaining of relationship between the two countries. We all love India and Indian Films. The impact of Indian cinema can be seen and heard from the music of HAVAS. Enjoy both Indian and Uzebeki music,” said H.E. Dilshod Akhatov Ambassador of Uzbekistan.
HAVAS guruhi, meaning White Envy, is a Uzbekistani music group composed of seven members of the Ermatov family who are popularly known for singing Indian songs. The group was founded by a couple, Rustam and his wife Matluba, who are the director and producer of the group respectively. The singers and musicians of the band are their four children. The eldest child, a son named Khakhramon is the winner of Uzbekistan’s Nihol award. The second child is a daughter named Shakhnoza. The third child is a son named Dostonbek. The fourth and youngest child is a daughter named Robiya. Nilufar, the wife of eldest son Khakhramon, is a former tv anchor and the present public relations officer of their band
Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah honoured all the members of the group with the membership of Indo Uzbekistan Film and Cultural Forum. The event was supported by Embassy of Uzbekistan in India and International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry. New members of IUFCF were also inducted on the same day.
