Indo UK Business and Cultural Meet Showcases Strong Collaboration and Meaningful Outcomes

New Delhi — The Indo UK Business and Cultural Meet concluded on an inspiring note, bringing remarkable outcomes and strengthening the longstanding ties between India and the United Kingdom. The gathering witnessed the presence of distinguished personalities from diverse sectors who came together to explore new avenues of cooperation in business, culture, education, and creative industries.

Addressing the august gathering, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and a leading figure in global cultural diplomacy, shared his exceptional 45-year association with the United Kingdom. Recalling his first visit to the UK in 1980, Dr. Marwah highlighted the deep-rooted relationship that has grown consistently over the decades.

Dr. Marwah, the first Indian to be honoured in the British Parliament eleven times, has played a pivotal role in promoting Indo–UK relations. He has been nominated as the Ambassador of Wales to India and currently chairs several prominent forums including the Indo UK Film and Cultural Forum and Indo Wales Creative Forum, while also serving as Patron to numerous UK-based organisations.

In his address, Dr. Marwah emphasised the importance of cultural diplomacy, business collaborations, and people-to-people connections in strengthening bilateral relations. His message resonated strongly with the audience, setting the tone for future engagements.

Several eminent speakers also shared their insights during the event: Sunil Chopra, Former Mayor of London, spoke about the evolving opportunities for cooperation and the Indian diaspora’s significant role in the UK., Dr. Gaurav Hans, representing BBMG Foundation, highlighted collaborative possibilities in education and community development., Tarun Singal of BBG underscored the growing potential for business partnerships between the two nations., Peentalin Kumar of the UK Alumni Group shared perspectives on academic linkages and professional exchange programs.
