Indian Classic Films Opened At The first Go At 5th Global Film Festival

The over booked hall with the film lovers and film students from all over India and abroad eager to listen to the opening session of Indian Classical Cinema at Marwah Studios Complex at Noida Film City. The studio ID of Marwah Studios booked only for classical Indian Films added a tribute to Indian Film Industry celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema with screening of 36 Chowringhee Lane by Aparana Sen. “1913 the birth of Raja Harish Chandra by Dada Saheb Phalke, the first public screening of Indian cinema, 1931 first talkie Alam Ara by Ardeshir Irani and now 2012 lets salute to all the masters of Indian Film Industry who have left us at such a high platform from where we all can fly to any heights” said Sandeep Marwah founder of film city Noida and President of Global Film Festival. Film Maker Prof Kalyan Sarkar, Still Photographer Arun Anand, Festival Director R.K.Singh and film maker Pankaj Rakesh also spoke on the occasion.
