An International Film Festival of short films under the banner “Dream To Cannes-Through 100 Years of Indian Cinema” was inaugurated by Uday K Varma the secretary of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Government of India at PHD Chamber of Commerce at New Delhi jointly designed by Marwah Studios and Directorate of Film Festival. “We all are celebrating 100 years of Cinema. I extend my heartiest congratulations to the whole film fraternity. The producing of films is now very expensive exercise. Most of the producers are busy in recovering the cost of the film in which sometimes they loose the idea of making of good cinema” reminded Uday K Varma addressing the huge international gathering. “We have been promoting short films from last 20 years and festivals are the best way to showcase these films” said Sandeep Marwah World Recorder holder of producing largest number of short films. Nine different films from India, Poland, China, Lithuania, Greece, Philippines, Vietnam, Slovenia and Spain were screened.
