Iranian Cultural Week Started at Marwah Studios With Pomp And Show




Screening of films, workshops, discussions, tour & travels all were the part and parcel of cultural week of Republic of Iran at Marwah Studios in association with Iranian Cultural Centre at Noida Film City.

 ‘We are impressed by the gesture extended by Marwah Studios and especially by the arrangements and the dedicated audience here to appreciate films from Iran and be the part of cultural week” said Mohd. Ali Faulladi, Cultural Counselor of Republic of Iran in India. Iran.

“The relation between India and Iran go back to centuries. We are both emotional and spiritual countries. There are many similarities between two cultures. Indian films are well accepted by people of Iran.” Expressed Sandeep Marwah inaugurating the festival by lighting the lamp in tradition Indian way.

Renowned filmmakers including Ali Ghafari, Mohammad Sanati and Mohsen Ali-Akbari were the guests of honors who have come from Iran to join the festival.

The festival was inaugurated with great pomp and show. Filmmaker & Secretary General ICMEI Ashok Tyagi, guests from Embassy of Iran, film persons from Iran Broadcasting were also present there.
